Well I would recommend you to read Ichigo 100% and Lilim Kiss. They're my favourite manga's and are both romances.

Regarding a manga recommendation thread, there are plenty of those based on genres. Make sure to check out the Manga General forum to look through them. You might want to try use the search function to find some threads.
