lol wat's funny is that my friend is a band geek and a anime freak~!

i dunno....in my opinion liking a certain show or type of show isn't nerdie unless u like..i dunno barney or something.

i say band geek...cuz a lotta times band overwhelms ur life and u are actually labeled as a geek...but if a person is obsessed with anime, u never hear any1 like that being labeled an actual "geek"......either way.....doesn't mean ur nerdy.....u can be totally popular or watever..who cares wat ur hobbies are.

I'm gonna have to say otaku's even though I'm turning into one myself. My girl friend gets super mad when I start reading and reading, but it's addicting! especially if it's a really good manga!

At my school, the term band geek doesn't really apply. People in the band play an instrument and its a way to be involved in a school activity. So i'd have to say otaku is worse.
