Try finding ICO for the PS2, I think it's one of the better games for the system, and also, if you are old enough you should try God of War. _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |

Why would you list Star Ocean under Tactics? Rpg for sure (one of the best out there). If you're into rpgs you could get Radiata Stories, it's brand new, goes into the same direction as Star Ocean 3 but looks more anime-ish. However since I don't have it yet, I can't tell you if it's really all that good.
Metal Gear Solid 3/Action-adventure/stealth, Kingdom Hearts/RPG (it is a bit childish though), you could also try Dead or Alive if you don't have it already. Also the new Mortal Kombat game should be out this week, don't know if it's good though. |

Another game worth checking out, uhmm, Final Fantasy 11 if you're an online type of gamer, it's a pretty good game. _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |

well it depends what you're in to...
i'd say SO3 if you like rpgs, tactic games..hrm, depends on what you like, if you like say mecha i'd recommend a g gen game or SRW, action: hrm, theres way too many choices for this one,
mostly it just depends on your preferences..
oh btw kaminoseigi, is ICO good? whats it about? maybe i'll go look for it haha _________________ Mr. Offtopic o_o

ICO is one of my favorite games of all times. It's a pretty short game and at the moment is pretty hard to find. If you get lucky you can find it in one of those clearence bins for $9.99. The game is about a boy named ICO and he has horns and he finds this girl and ends up journying through a lot of places with her.

I also recommend Haunting Grounds (or was it hunting grounds). Something of the sort, about a girl with a dog, it's in the survival horror genre. _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |

I belive that for multiplayer player timespliters is great
for long time gameing i sugest one of the grand theft autos
for horror survival i suggest one of the silent hill series
armor core is great if you like to customize your type of fighting machine to the way you like it
and rpg games i sugest ps1 final fantasy 7 due to the fact taht i dont like the way 10 did their world map and 10X2 realy did a daring move away from their average games
right now thou i am enjoying shining tears due to the fact the battles are close to the ps1 star ocean which i fine better than the ps2 due to less talking( pss2 introduction is VERY long) |

Uh, we don't download games, we buy them. Otherwise game developers starve from lack of food and then no more games get made. If you're on a tight budget, look for classic PS2 titles (that have the red band across the top). Those are usually discounted at the big name stores, and EB also sells used games so you can get many titles for much less than retail.
For RPGs I have to agree with the Final Fantasy series. X and X-2 are both good games. Graphics are a little dated on the earlier ones, but 7 is a true classic as far as the story goes. Kingdom Hearts is fun if you like Disney and it borrows from several FF games. Someone mentioned Radiata Stories. Haven't played it yet but reviews are good.
For platform games I've enjoyed Jak and Daxter, and Sly Cooper. The sequels for those games are good as well.
For battle simulations there's SOCOM. For fighters, God of War is supposed to be really good. _________________ [IMG:119:90:283352dc7f]http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e36/Tank252ca/HoiHoiSanPointing.gif[/img:283352dc7f]Tank252ca |

RPG - All Star Oceans, XENOGEARS, Xenosaga, all FF
Fighting - Guilty Gear XX (like anime=love this), Tekken, Dead or Alive 2
Action - GTA (although i dont like it), Dynasty Warriors 3-5, Samurai Warriors
Shooting - nothing good, stick with Halo or SOCOM i guess _________________ Miku Miku!!
