yeah theres a difference, marth is super fast and light but his attacks are semi-weak unless you hit with the tip of his sword. while roy is slow and heavy but his attacks are hardcore! (espesially his charge B attacks explosion [booooooom  ]) and they hurt even more if you hit them with the middle.
although i would rather play with Link whos actually one of the strongest characters in the game cuz he has a lot of different attacks and he hits hard! i love using the bombs........boom!!!!!!!

Well, with Marth you can onslaught your oppenant with his B attack and then do B+Up to end the chain and while they are on the ground Cpad down to get a cheap shot, while Roy can't do this chain. I think Marth is more of a brute force charecter and Roy is more of a quick recovery hitter because if you look at Roy's attacks they are all pretty rapid and the cooldown on his attacks are minimul making him an ideal charecter for quick attacks.

| Actually most of marth's move are stronger than roy's with the exception of roy's B moves. Oh, and my best is probably Fox or Falco. |

My best character is Falco, but thats just one on one situtations. When its 4 people ya cant beat Donkey Kong, charge up his punch and wait till everyone is fighting someone else, and sneak up BAM!!! Silent like the night.
But yah Falco has to be one of the best cause he is all around good, not too weak like Fox, good high jumps, his Up B attack doesnt go as far as Fox does, but its good enough, and Down A (not the smash attack down A) where he spins his tail on the ground, that is killer.
the normal Down A attack is best used when you have a low percent. Just sit there wait for him to attack you and right when he does just do Down A. Than you can do a smash attack of any kind. |

But Roy can do that too, and it's one-hit ko as well, well, unless you charge it too long, and damage yourself... |

correct.
and who the FUC*!!! is going to get hit by a full charged B move?? well unless they're partially retarded (no offense) to just jump into that move or get hit by it, plus its a "1 hit KO" if its in a small stage if its something big like link's castle or w/e it won't KO them if they have 0%, unless your in the top part or the really far left/right.

actually a lot of people can get hit by that attack. especially in 4 players in battle mode. B move is charged up, one player hits another player into the way of the powered up B move. it's not that easy to control yourself away from b move, when you've been hit hard and are flying backwards towards it.
i reckon best characters: fox, pikachu, link.
i think speed characters are usually the most effective. they're harder to hit, and you just screw over the strong, slow ones.
