Hmm.. Weird. I guess Nintendo is investing into a more interactive kind of play where it involves more than just your fingers. Maybe its going to start a whole new revolution where eventually games will be played virtually.

nice try but uhhh.... NO! although as a dedicated fan of playstation, i gotta say sony hasn't really come up with anything new either, if not it's almost as bad as this nintendo revolution thing, all they did to the ps3 controller was to make the ends longer, which is in no way neccessary to gameplay nor does it help with the gaming experience, so i guess it only leaves the xbox as the clear winner as far as controllers go since the other two competitors lose by default, but meh, why worry so much about controllers people, it's the actual games that they come up with that matter, controllers can go back to the old nes controllers for all i care so long as gameplay, storyline, graphics, sound, and the rest are amazing

viet-boi-in-luv, could you verify us that the PS3's contoller will be similar to their old ones but with elongated ends? Because as far as I know, that PS3 controller that everybody has seen is not the official one. And Sony said that it's going to be a surprise. Maybe we'll see it sometime around February or later since that's when they're planning to make the system playable to the public in Japan. As far as the price of the console goes, they said that they're going to debate it at the day or two before the launch.

Aside from that, here's some funny J Allard (key Xbox executive) stuff on Nintendo's Revolution controller. I think Xbox 360's remote control has four colored buttons too...

The controller seems to hold an infinite amount of possibilites. I personally think that there could be a lot of customization on the controller itself. Maybe adding a part to the controller so it would look like a standerd Nintendo controller (like the retro super nintendo one). I'm looking foward to a first person samurai game with the use of the motion sensor (and possibly fishing games!!).

hey thugangel, you sure the ps3 controllers on pictures are fake? seems pretty real to me

or so it shows on http://www.ps3portal.com/, unless you can show me somewhere where sony themselves says that it's not the real thing

Didn't they say on the Tokyo Game Convention 2005 that the next gen controller for PS3 isn't final that it was still in Beta?

Yes it true this control is just for show Sony hasnt finalized their control design yet. So PSX fans there is still hope for you (that is if you overcome the projected $400 price tag)

u ppl should go to www.howstuffworks.com, to check out the specs of the new nintendo

the remote controller is quite original.. but i dont think it is pratical..it just a new dimension not a replacement to the existing controllers

no matter wat they come up wif, sony will overwhelm it
