Best PS2 series?

I think he was referring to Metal Gear Solid.
Let's not forget Gran Turismo too in that case. Smile

I would prefer playing GTA on the PC.
And since its the mmorpg era now, I've started to lose interest in the FF series. I still like the story but then I have no time to touch them. Sad

Guess my vote goes to Metal Gear Solid too. Smile

Been a fan of that series ever since it came out for the 8-bit consoles.

Even though FF isn't a true "series" of games that continue a storyline, I think that it is one of the best lines of games out there. Devil May Cry is actually a series that adds prequels to the storyline and keeps one storyline across the games. If you are looking for something like that then the .hack//sign series is good as well. realtime fighting, but pauses when you go into a menu to change equipment or selest a spell/skill... I have to say that that interface couldn't get anybetter.

FF is the best selection if you are into stories and of course...FF X international have the hardest boss i have encouter ( since FF7 till X-2)
i played 147 hours ( written in my memory card save ) and finally beat all those side boss ( maybe because i noob >< )

As an FF fan, I vote for ff series, I like to play those games many many times... but why there's no poll for other famous series such as Resident Evil, Suikoden, MGS or Shadow Hearts...

man who ever hasn't played MGS (metal gear solid) is missing out on A LOT. forget the gameplay the storyline alone is good enough to play the game.

Of those listed, I picked FF.. and then I realized that I don't really like either of the PS2 FFs. FF12 does look really promising though. Overall, my favorite PS2 game series is, by far, Tenchu. Fatal Shadows is definitely my favorite game of all time.

off all game I like to see the best graphic + storyline which resulting to final fantasy series is the best... even DMC is great but the graphic could be lot more better and the storyline is... well... simple
