I have always debated this topic with numerous people, now i want to know what everyone thinks about it. What is the nature or man, to do good or evil? Evil in the world is not only glorified, it is enocuraged and rewarded. Its like reverse darwinism, we are going back to a primate state. Good is now something of a myth or something similair to it. I choose to believe that the true nature of man is of good, but the world is so messed up and reverse that we turn into evil beings. Share your thoughts on the subject. _________________ Miku Miku!!

well i think it is both since without the good there is no evil
the world when evey body is good then it can be say that the world where nobody is good since they are at the same level
but when somebody is nicer to other then there is 100% sure that there are other which is bad
and from that they may peole which hate the nicer people and do bad deed to others

To clear things up, by man, do you mean guys only or humans?
If you're talking about humans, I think the nature would be evil because the balance of good and evil have always been off sided towards evil. Why you ask? Well there are too many factors to explain, but in total, (I belive) evil has outnumbered the good things we've done.

i mean humans as a race. it is true that most of the world is evil, but that is not really the issue at hand. of course its evil, but what is our nature from the beginning? a child cannot be born evil, it has to be learned. but is that even true? what about children who kill people? what are they? these questions take time. _________________ Miku Miku!!

People as the bible says were born good and pure. Until Adam or Eve (I forgot which) ate the apple of sin I think. I think later on, there had something to do with a snake, but anyway. The snake might have told them not to eat the apple, I don't know.
Naturally, people are born good, but corruption in the real world and televisions taint their pure minds and persuade them to do 'sins' or 'evil'.
A world without violence or corruption doesn't exist, so a pure 'good' world will probably never come. Even animals have a nature of violence.

That is basically what I think. A world withougt corruption DID exist supposedly, but we messed it up for ourselves. But animals do not have a sense for good/evil or bad/good. All they have are the instincts they are born with and are learned from their group. (Like us ironically) Although their sense of hostility and evildoers often surpasses us, but they don't know what they are feeling or that it is evil. It's more like, "This guy is a threat. I must protect myself from threats." sort of mentality. Besides that, I agree with you. _________________ Miku Miku!!

if we did what felt good all the time, then we would be hedonistic, which is basically saying, "I am a sinner, I am evil, and I love it." is that what you are? we would all be in one giant, drunken, high on whatever orgy 24-7. people are actually born from sin, so it is in our nature to do evil but we are given a choice whether or not to do it, evil just seems like the easy way out. the apple that adam and eve ate is believed to be what seperated us from the rest of the animals. animals have a nature of violence because they do not have a sense of morals, meaning they do not know what is wrong or right.
