I've seen the game in my place, but unfortunately untill now the game has yet released in English version...

The good news is that this game has all the right material from the manga to make a great game, the bad news is that every other game based on a manga as good as this one gets horrible results. My guess is that they're just goin to make it to make money off of the fans rather than having some good hardcore gantz fans make the game to make this project a success. It would be nice to have an awsome game thats based upon manga at least just once.

It's seems like i would be way easy to make a good game from this managa they would just have to take it serously no cell shading
cell shading bad, for one thing I totally dosn'e fit this games style
and for another I don't know I'm not a big fan of cell shading

this game could've been better if they put more effort to it

somehow, this game is like a "what ifs" story from the manga like you could prevent the characters from dying regardless the original story, plus taking different actions from what it should be.

my biggest complain is that they only put "the important characters" as NPCs, others don't even get mentioned

i have not seen nor played this game. can someone reply if they know whether it is on ps2 only or if we can find a pc version? i have not been able to find it for ps2 and i'm wondering if it's not for the united states- which of course would suck.

the gameplay is similar to watcha-callit Rainbow Six, which is basically a team-raid-destroy action/shooting game, but the engine doesn't seem well developed. Unless you're a fan of the anime/manga, I think you may not wanna touch this game...

I never get excited about a game just because it's based on my favorite anime.
It's usually the same deal as how they make games based on hollywood movies.
In fact, I usually assume the worst initially whenever they make a movie or anime based games.

it's true that most movie/anime based game couldn't par with their anime/movie predecessor in terms of gameplay/story, but we couldn't ignore the fact that some genres of these games like SLGs/puzzle are in fact were quite the most anticipated games by fans in Japan. I can see why Gantz is partially a SLG, since the developers may realized that they couldn't do much about the gameplay they may emphasize quite a dose on the story (Gantz have like 10/15 endings if I may recall).
