American Dad

I just started to watch this show, since its from the creators of family guy, and at first i hated it. i did not think it was funny at all. but i watch it now, and its hilarious! not as funny as family guy, but still funny. what do you guys think of it?

Its funny but compair to Family Guy its not as good.

way too similar to family guy. I gave it 2 episodes, thats it. I guess I'd watch it if absolutely nothing was on.

Still waiting for them too show it here in Sweden one of the channels that have family guy is going to pick it up.

my all time new favorite moment from American Dad:

when Stan's family gets in the way of Roger so he wont shoot him, and he says, "Nobody threatens my family and gets away with it! No get out of the way or I'll shoot you all!" funny stuff IMO

anyone saw the ep. about Steve dating an older woman(80+ probably) ? it was sort of hilarious Steve and his friend(forgot his name) was fighting over an older woman. the way he ran out of the apartment was sort of retarded because it was obvious that someone was there with the open window, the familiar shirt and voice

it's alright at times...but alot of the time it seems like american dad was just made out of all the jokes that didnt quite make the cut for family guy...

I like this cartoon. Although many say it is not as good as Family Guy I would agree. But the political satire in cartoon are hilarious! Insane conservative Dad vs rebelious liberal daughter is always a great mix. The show has its ups and downs, but I still stick in there and watch it. If I had to compare it on my rankings, it would be pretty close to Futurama, ahead of Simpsons but no where near the level of Family Guy
