my full name is Elhaym, but Elly is more common. Elhaym comes from "el" = God and "haym" = life, in Hebrew. elly is just for short. i prefer elly anyways. elly itself is derived from an irish word for light.

It means "he will add". Don't ask me what. I guess you can add what you want. Besides that Joseph there are 2 Important Josephs in the Bible. Apparently rulers of the Holy Roman Empire have been named this too. You have an Imperial name!!!

I think Elly is better because:
A) It's shorter
B) It's cuter
C) She has the right to be called in whichever way she prefers.
