Worst anime ever!

Noir and Fushigi Yuugi are definitely the shows I despise the most. Noir's got nothing but pretence to be stylish and Yuugi is the lamest shoujo soap I've ever seen.
Apart from those two some of the worst shows I've seen are Full Metal Panic (except for the first few episodes), Chrno Crusade, ROD OVA, Raimuiro Senkitan, Dragon Drive, Smash Hit, and Ninja Scroll TV (though at times it's so bad it's good).
The worst movies I've seen are Slayers Perfect and Armitage III: Dual Matrix.

But above them all, Ultimate Muscle is definitely the WORST thing I've ever watched.

Fox Box really knows how to pick them.

I already disliked Pokemon, but not nearly as much as it's derivates. The worst of those are Digimon (because it's such a litteral rip off, at least TRY not to make it look like a cheap cash-in on the pokemon succes) and Beyblade (these guys did think something up. But could they perhaps have thought of something slightly less lame than bloody spinning tops??). The only decent pokemon-cash-in is Angelic Layer, that was pretty funny. And now for a question: Which of the four series I mentioned ISN'T broadcasted by foxkids in Holland? Exactly.

Anime's that I just stoped watching:
Gatekeepers (God it was dull. Animation was crappy. And all the characters were retards in a bad way. Stoped watching after the main character didn't figuer out that his classmate with his arm in bandages was the evil guy he injured on his arm in the fight before.)
Full metal panic (not a popular opinion, but I really disliked it. I was expecting cool mecha action, I get fully predictable boy-girl jokes, an incredibly lame bad guy, and a pathetic mecha fight. Stoped watching after 7 eps, when the first real mecha fight turned out lame, and the poor jokes continued)
FLCL (Maybe I wasn't ready for it yet when I saw it. I actually did watch it all, but only because the guy who had some anime I wanted to borrow kinda held it for ransom. First I had to see FLCL with him, then I could have the cool stuff)
Gunslinger girl (This simply didn't appeal to me at all. I normally like dark series, but this was just too depressed, to illogical, to low on humor.... Well, I just didn't like it)

the worst I've seen was Pugyuru. I also hate Yu-gi-Oh, Pokemon, Digimon, I wish you where here, Please save my earth, chobits, Zenki, saint seiya....

The thread starter should have made it a point not to add pokemon digimon etc. cause it goes without saying that just about 99% of the people in here would throw those down as their least favs. Wink

FMP is the worst Exclamation

Well, I was quite shocked to hear someone said that Kiddy Grade, FMP and Gundam SEED is one of their worst anime since Gundam SEED and Kiddy Grade are amazing for me and FMP is not that bad. Man, I guess everybody has their own opinion.
For me, the worst is:
1. Sister Princess - The most boring drama ever
2. Noir - Thanks for the dull story
3. .Hack//Sign - what the heck is going on

Ooooooook, now I hate wasting time to argue with people but I see lots of you complaining about .Hack I say this anime has great story and deep characters, and even though there was no action I went through the whole anime in like, two days. This is my favorite anime, and those who just wish for action I'll just say go watch Naruto. Damn it.
P.S. Hello ghp, and all you who say FMP is bad would you explain why? I explained everything about the anime i hate, so why don't you do the same instad of saying "this anime is the worst." and no arguments. It had nice story, nice comedy, nice action. It may not be the best anime but it's certainly not the worst.

well I wouldn't say it's one of the worst of all time... but I'd have a hard time putting it as a favorite Nastee...

.hack, the entire franchise, was one of the most contrived and ugly marketing schemes ever conceived. That being said, the concept for the original story was quite thought provoking, BUT they failed to come through... they sacrificed what was a very interesting concept for drawing out episodes longer and franchising. What was a great idea was ruined, solely due to greed...

Yeah, you're right about the greed. I've played the PS2 games too, and they failed miserably at it when decided to split the game in 4 parts just to get money. But the anime is a different story, i think that it was done quite good, as I said, the great story and the characters are enough to keep me watching it, and this anime has it all when it comes to story and characters. The Liminality Ova was fine too, even though the ending could've been better. I haven't watched the 12 episodes of Legend Of The Twillight Bracelett, but when I do I'll share my opinion here.
And yeah, I won't deny it, I'm a .Hack fanboy. I always do objective reviews though. Laughing

it messed up the whole gundam universe with this cel-shaded series....

its gotta be scrapped princess, i think its HUGELY overrated. I don't know why its so high on the list, I've only watched half of it(which i hear is the good part) and found it unbearable. The only episode that i liked was the first episode because it showed alot of promise, but NO it was completely boring, with meaningless dialogue that did not move the plot at all. Its as if the creators wanted to make a show with a good premise as boring as possible.

bottom line: Scrapped Princess could have been so much more, huge bore fest.

- terrible! The characters may be cute, but they are supper annoying and very cliche. The whole "I love my onii-chan" must have been on a recorder or something

UFO Princess Valkeryie 2
- I haven't seen the first season but this is idiotic, I couldn't get myself to watch more than an episode

Furi Kuri
- things protruding out of heads and grotesque looking art/animation isn't what I look forward to
