what is the greatest commercial ever? it could be one from a long time ago, or one you just saw a few seconds ago. my fave commercial ever is probably the recent Burger King Commercials with that guy in the King suit. i love all of those commercials, but the one where he intercepts that football and does a dance is my fave.

there are probably only a few people here who know what im talking about because this is an australian ad. my favourite ad campaign was the series of AMP bank ads which ran from late last year to this year. it featured talking heads and comforting easy listening piano music. it wasnt flashy or funny but an ad which made me feel good inside (rare). bank ads make me feel warm fuzzy and secure Smile

and yes, i know im a sucker for advertising.

there are a few more that i cant remember, but that AMP campaign will always be with me .

that printer/digital camera commercial where the guy is takes a white frame and everytime he puts the frame around his face it takes a picture instantly and he throws it away. The song on this commercial is called Picture book I think. What a creative commercial.

I also love nike commercials, the best one in recent memory being that one where the guy is chasing down the hotdog stand through the city and when he finally reaches it all he does is put ketchup on his hotdog then he lets the stand roll off the dock into the water. What a great commercial

Theres this other beer adverts, cant remember which one....basicly, its just 4 ppl, done in different mediums, dancing in the street....
One was a wooden puppet, another was 2-D animated, the third was plasticine and the last guy was real...
Dosnt sound like much, but I thought it was a stoke of genius and was very well done...

The best advertisement to me is the Adidas Jose+10 ad for the 2006 World Cup. It shows 2 kids choosing famous players like Zinedine Zidane, Raul Gonzales, David Beckham, Michael Ballack, Lionel Messi and Oliver Khan. Even past players like Franz Beckenbauer and Michel Platini appeared but digitally reproduced.

Oh man this old thread.... anyways I saw a commercial yesterday that was so freakin hilarious. It was a new Burger King commercial where the King is getting sued or something and he is at a press conference with his lawyer. Some guy in the crowd asks him a question, and the king slowly looks at him and makes that "Ive got my eyes on you" motion with his hands. I wish I could describe the motion better but you just have to see it. Its awesome. Smile
