How many people have heard of this manga or rather manhwa? Right now its being published in us by tokyopop and its up to vol 11 i think.
As some pople might have figured it out already its about a priest, but a priest that has sold half of his soul to the devil. Now he is trying to destroy the killers of his beloved sister(he was adopted) that he was in love with. For some reason unknown to me i cant really describe the story to well nomater how hard I try so go here
to find out more aobut the story
the reason i am writing about this manga iis because its very entertaining, and very dark, the art is great and very unusuall, the art is somewhat similar to that in flcl manga, also the american covers are really good, however if you are tired of religious manga or anime this might not be for you, there is a lot of talk about god, devil, souls and things like that which make for an interesting story, at least for me, there is also a lot of action, most of it is placed in the old west something like a western except that some of the weapons are definetley form 20th century. still its a good read so go check it out if you havent already _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |

I read the first two volumes and it has me interested. I am a bit disapointed by the lack of character development though. Hopefully I'll find out more about Ivan in the later volumes. I'm going to read volume 3 on my wayhome from work.
Oh btw, the cover art for this manga is amazing. |

yes the cover art is trully amazing
and if you want story and character development then read on because you get the whole story right from the begining how every thing happened in latter volumes (i think it starts with vol 4 or so)
i stopped at vol 7 because i cant find the next volumes around me, all sold out and i cant get it on line, i guess i have to look a bit harder _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |

I read volume 3 and all of a sudden this manhwa (^^) got very interesting. I bought volumes 5-7 and asked a bookstore to order volume 4 for me. Volumes 8-13 are available at this comic book store by work so I'm not worried.
Once I read up to volume 13, I think I might do a feature of this manga for a-s, get some hype around it. Right now it seems like it will get really good. |

I read the first 3 volumes of Priest and I'm quite disappointed. It's just tons of cliched monster hunting bullshit and religious mumbo-jumbo and then some more. I don't know if the main dude is supposed to be cool, but I think the gazillion other manga characters with the same exact design before him take away from his magnificence. Overall Priest's nothing as exciting as Berserk (I mean the earlier volumes, in the last 15 or so volumes it's been steadily going down).
True, the artstyle is unusual for manga but it's nothing original either, it's just been influenced by western comics rather than Japanese manga.
Well, at least the covers are cool... I'd rather get posters of them instead of the boring content in the manga itself. _________________ Is that the best you can do, you pansies? |

| Well for sure the covers are cool but you dont find the story interesting at all? It does become more than just action later on in later books but I guess if you werent into the first three volumes you'll hate the rest. |
