| Elfen Lied has probably the strongest emotions of terror, sadness, and caring/happiness that I've seen in Anime. Lots of anger, and only a little humor. Those who've seen it know what I mean. If you haven't seen it, give it a shot (I'd say over 18 yo), if you dare! |

Elfen lied, NANA,Kimi ga Nozomu Eien
the three anime to me that has the most Drama
though Nana has good amount of comedy, that reason i almost like it more than Elfen lied |

Coming from a relatively 'new-age anime viewer' here, I thought Kanon was excellent. I don't usually cry, but the series succeeded to making me drop a few tears.
