I think Asians. I know a lot of Asians that like manga than the "non-Aisan". Anyway, its really popular in Asia.

american born chinese here, and i think there are more asians in the anime/manga community, although i do know alot of non-asian watchers/readers. most of them read mangas cuz of me lol

People from asia probably read more manga since it is more accessable to them. I remember reading and watching 30+ volumes and many episodes of the series Case Closed, while I was in China. However, over in America, my friend has told me he can only get the 12th volume.
Also, when kids in non-Asian countries probably first read comics like Batman and watch shows about superheroes. However, when I was growing up I would read(or just look at) manga and I watched anime like Case Closed when I was in China.

im asian and most of my friend read, manga, regularly or occasionally.
it's quite obviously asians who read more since they get a lot more exposure to the stuff...though anime and manga and coming into the western world more and more now.

Waaaa, I don't know. I've never been to asia nor am I asian in any way so I can't tell. But I'd probably say yes because over here where I live the manga reading population is practically non-existant.

YAY! ME asian!! And i say that the asian pop. reads more manga and watches more anime. B/c of the reasons already said!! The asian population is exposed more to it and is more closer to the sources

Even tho my jap club at school is almost all white or other. In america it seems that more and more non-asian ppl are getting into it but I don't think its as big as the asian population!! Very Happy

Probably asians, I know no one that isn't asian that read mangas. Well maybe cause i never ask, lol i don't even think people know that I read them haha. Well I say asians cause we can relate to most of the mangas to our culture.

i rli dunno ne white guys that read manga. i go 2 like a white skool, and i in the library only plp u c touching the manga is the azn kids and sumtimes ull get a rare brown kid.

for me...i'm an asian reader...mostly cos schools in my country encourage reading...and many just pick up manga to read...
