Onimusha. Would it make a good anime?

What video game would make a good anime? The Street Fighter animes were okay but the Tekken anime really stunk. I think Onimusha has the best chance of being a hit anime. We got the demons, samurai, ninjas, and we got the legends from japanese history. and judging from the opening movies from these games, they could do a crazy job with cg like they did with the new ff7 movie.

I don't think there is much good anime that is based on games, so I doubt this one would be a success either, that is, if it is made into an anime series.

if thats your only criteria, go play some onimusha games then lets talk. or if you're too lazy to play the games just watch the opening movies. I agree most vid games anime suck but Onimusha would change all that.

onimusha has got a great chance of becoming a good anime..the story itself has a somewat typical anime stoty... so no reason it should not be anime..

probably, as it does have a strong fantasy element, and other samurai anime like that have been made. i have heard a rumour that they might be making a proper film of it maybe someday, as the movie rights for onimusha have certainly already been offered out.

I think it would make a great animation for the samurai loving/action/rpg type fans.
