plug in your laptop to a powersource, aka an outlet, basically you can't install it just by using your laptop battery _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |

| Shut down your computer before you plug it in first, though. When you run your laptop on battery first, your CPU tends to downclock itself in able to save battery life. WinXP SP2 takes a really long time to install. If the battery ran out in the middle of the installation, SP2 will completely wipe out your OS and there is almost no chance of getting your old Windows XP back. Any mistakes during SP2 installation, it's highly possible that you may have to re-install WinXP or reformat, so I recommend no multi-tasking (do the installation during your sleep xD ). And you should have at least 5-7 gigs free when you try to install SP2. |
