Here are the absolutely luckiest people in the history of manga, in no particular order.
(These have been previously said, by one or two other people....)
Alucard, from Hellsing:
He's Immortal, can never be killed, kicks ass, is a vampire, and has a hot vampire babe as his slave.....
Ranma Saotome, from Ranma 1/2:
He can change into a girl at will. Nothing else needs to be said. (Well, perhaps I should note the whole awesome martial arts skills, and the has about 10 fiances bits, but, who cares... He can change into a girl....)
(These have not been said, and frankly, I cannot believe it.)
Ed, from Fullmetal Alchemist:
I know he's got the whole, dad leaving, mom dying, he and his brother trying to bring her back, and failing, at the cost of his arm and leg, and his brother's body, his natural height, and the living ever day in fear, but come on! He's one of the most prodigal alchemists ever, and has metal arms and legs. (He also has a really cute girl, Winry.)
Nara Shikamaru, from Naruto:
This entire part's a daggon huge spoiler....
An IQ of 200, and the ability to trap people with shadows, as well as being so awesomely lazy, he is really lucky.... (Not to mention his red hot smokin' girlfriend, Temari...)

I am a guy, and I am straight, I just believe that, wow, some people need to get their prority's straight... I mean, common, I would rather have eternal life, or the ability to kill anyone I see, and know the name of, and be the smartest person in the world, or be able to change into a girl whenever I wanted to, or be able to trap people with shadows, or be an alchemist, rather than have a harem crawl over me any day....

lol, I wasnt thinking with my crotch.
Even though the girls fell in love with Captain Tylor, I chose him cause of how he encounters battles and how his irresponsible actions should lead to his demise. Yet he luckily pulls through against all odds!

Oh well, it all depends on what you mean by lucky.
For me, lucky is having a lot of incredible abilities... which boils down to Magister Neiji.
Not because of the girls or anything like that... (please respect our female viewers) but becaue of the ability to teach and take on responsibilities of an adult... though he fumbles it. _________________
