Does this happen to everyone whenever you download torrents from KAA?
I always get a tracker response that "bitcomet sucks in tracker...etc"
but after I get that and use BitTornado...it's all working fine...

KAA banned BitComet because they think it reports false information to the tracker (maybe it does but who knows)
Some said KAA's admin also found that many BC clients have poor sharing ratio so that's why he banned it completely.
If you want to download some files using KAA tracker, use other bittorrent clients. By the way, the latest version for BitComet is 0.60 so you might want to upgrade. _________________ What's yours is mine, what's mine is still mine. |

| Haha. Well, they claim that BitComet passes a lot of garbage data so that's why they banned it. I've also heard plenty of other problems with BitComet like eating up bandwidth, sucks at seeding, or giving false information especially when BitComet is minimized (to a system tray icon?) so that's why I'm sticking to BitTornado. |

there were few problems with bitcomet that i had, i could be downloading 300 or more MB for a file that's only 170, that was the most anoying thing about it, and i'm not sure but i believe that it also could not sort the torrents and that was quite annoying too _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |

Yeah, that somehow happened to me, although I was only getting problems like downloading 100 out of 97 Mb file.
But anyway, I think I should start using other BitTorrent Client soon. Any best client suggestion? |

| yeah, i've also experienced dl'ing an extra 1.2 gig when the files are only 2 gigs. However, some files can only be dl'ed through BC...it's weird |

eeeeeeeh? never seen"Full Metal Panic"? the first two series and some manga in the franchise have been translated into english by ADV (with a dub that you could possibly consider -good-? amazing... a good dub....) and there's a third series still airing in Japan (being fansubed by a ridiculous number of groups... many of whom translate slighty better than babblefish)
As far as torrents are concerned, I've stuck with Azureus just because its the most user friendly mutli-torrent program(easy to change settings... which DOES have an effect on you d/l speed) and I would venture to call it reliable(hasn't crashed on me). The only catch is that many people complain that it takes up a lot of resources(java based) and leaks memory... but you won't notice these minor inconviniences if you have a newer computer... |

i prefer bitcomets interface though. i have to read up on all the pros and cons before i actually set out to change from bitcomet to another program. Bit tornado cant be one of the option as i download up to like 50+ torrrents at a time. so that would be like floodding my task bar unless i am so outdated that they have already fixed that problem. _________________

| They (more like him) is working on the new gui and core for BitTornado and may probably implement on that idea. I don't really see the need of a new interface as you could minimize the windows into a taskbar icon. How do you manage to run 50+ torrents at a time and try to have at least a 1.00 ratio on each one of them? I suppose you don't? ._. |

i've tried it a long time ago and last time I checked they did not have an update on it for a while, I remember having some issues with it, recently i've been switching between azerus and bitcommet, they both have their issues but they are the ones that i like plus i wan't only one window for all the torrents that i have (sometimes even 50 o_O ), I also tried torrent storm and from what i remember i advise staying away from that but the best thing is to download each of them and try them yourself to find out with one is the best one for you _________________ [img:387:120:36cb7a5440]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v98/idjota/BL.jpg[/img:36cb7a5440] |
