Terry Fox ran across North America to fund cancer research after losing a leg to cancer himself.

He died in the attempt

okay sorry. Armstrong is that cyclist dude (now retired) who trained specifically for the tour de france and won it god knows how many times after fighting and winning against testicular cancer. Apparently his scrotum grew to the size of an orange or an apple, but i digress, you didnt have to know that. its just a shame that he's not named Legstrong or somthing, a real shame.

I think most of the Chinese people would say that the basketball player Yao Ming is their favorite star...

Well, I think Yao Ming is decent because of his size, but without that, he's a garbage player. He's pretty stupid as well because he occasionally gets matched up with a guy thats 6 ft (Iverson) and he decides to do a hook shot or fade away. If he was smart like Shaq, he'd just eat em' alive in the post and posterize them.

Yeah, his skill is just crap, but his height really makes me someone to fear on the court.

Not really, you'd know that hes garbage so just block him. His vertical leap is probably 2 inches! Have you seen him jump? He hops in order to dunk, and he gets stuffed by midgets like Earl Boykins!

Well, I don't know about that, but I know his defense is crap, and his dunk looks awful!

Incredibly crap... No defense and no offense... He scores points with a flick of a wrist and misses sometimes. He's 7 ft and he can't block either!
Shaq is most definately a more dominant player than Yao Ming.

Well, I thought his shooting is ok, or average... anyway, he is still on his way to become good, or better...

I don't think so... There was too much hype with him when he first entered and his superstar popularity skyrocketed in a good and negative way. Good because he's being known, but bad because its for a bad reason. When he first entered the NBA, he was crossed by Stephon Marbury, and HE FELL flat on his back... He also got dunked on a couple of times... Not cool.

Well, can't say anything, since he's still green... well, hope he does get better, the skills, and live up to the reputation.

Shaq is a living legend compared to Yao Ming but you got to understand Shaq is more experienced than Yao due to the fact that Shaq has played alot more games than Yao, so i think overtime Yao Ming can either get better or worse imo, A good match up would be Shaq Vs Kevin Garnett.
