bump for episode 14 ranting

I laughed my ass off when Atori and Tobi moved in with Haruka "because of wild birds sighting". Atori was really really mellowed from what he used to be Laughing

and Tobi was just... cute (though I think that Tobi's a he... Razz

)

got some background on Haruka's parent, but the end was shocking. It's another Haruka speaking to Haruka!!! Asking her to take care of Yuu for her... damn it was creepy in a sense too, when the phone started ringing

It really was a little creepy, when her parents started saying different things. And I agree, about the ending, too. At first I didn't know who it was, but something about the way she said things, and the sound of her voice really pulled through.

14 was a really nice episode, though. Can't wait for the next one.

I watched the first 3 episodes. The animation style is extremely unique. Theres alot of the style that I don't like, but at the same time the rest I love. Its odd.

The story is freakin weird from my perspective. Granted were all allowed our own opinions. I don't really like this anime. The special effects, and the smooth animation is about all I can say I like about this one. The story couldn't hook me personally.

I think I know who the guy w/ the mask is (the shangri la guy....). My guess was based on episode 15 and was almost confirm in episode 16.

I think the guy in the mask is Yuu from another timespace just like karasu.

I thought so too, especially when he was replacing karasu during the flashbacks (can't really call them flashbacks in this anime lol).
Also, his attepts at trying to bring Haruka into his own dimension gives away that he might be another Yuu obssessed with Haruka just like Karasu.

Episode 16 didn't really confirm any notion of that. Rather, noein was trying to make Haruka forget Karasu, wasn't he? Why would Yuu want that? Is it a matter of jealousy? The ending made me believe that Yuu's started to accept Karasu a bit...and the whole Shang-gri la concept of assimilation and peace don't fit to Yuu's personalitity, somehow.

Those are my sentiments, at any rate.

Also one more tip that gave away who the mask man was is his voice. Seriously, I was watching while guessing who he is and in episode 16 during the flashback to the first episode, their was a similar tone of voice to karasu. Though it was more rough, extended, and creepier.

Agree, the voice gives it away that it is another Yuu.

I'll like to know who the guy in the straw hat is. The one that keeps appearing in different timespaces to Haruka.

Damn now I wonder how the story is going to effect us since we know who the mask man is now ( though not 100% sure). Do you guys think its the creater intention to draw us to who shangri la guy is? The reason for it is because there were a lot of hints in episode 15 & 16 that reveal his identity.

hmmm....the eyes are purple...anyone ever think that Noein is actually HARUKA? Never be fooled by voices! Makes sense, maybe her version of Karusu pissed her off big time and she doesnt want this Haruka with him either....

Im dying to know what happened to the Lacryma Haruka!!

I'm eagerly awaiting ep 19 from Shinsen Subs. The animation style is unique and the story just draws me further and further in every single episode.
