Where the sketches go.

hey thanks guys. I was looking it over on the subway today and made some changes to the forehead area, hair, and a bit to the left headphone which seems a bit weird to me. So now all that's left is to redraw it with the changes and hopefully color it. As for tom's suggestion on the Brand, im thinking on perhaps making an engraving on the right headphone.. or maybe elsewhere... but i'll def add it in since , well , we can't have anything half Berserk-ish without that Razz

Not bad Jackal. the pic is a lil lopsided though. were u drawing on a flat surface cuz that would do it. I used to get lopsidedness until i found that putting the paper at an angle (like with an easel) prevents that. Smile

. Good work otherwise.

Sam ur stuff is always so out there man. It's radical and i like that. Ur concepts have to be the most original i've seen. What do u call ur style?

Anyway been a while since i posted! Here's a sketch i did at work in blue and red pen and further colored in blue and yellow highlighter. Total time 15 mins.

These two are just rough sketches i did a lil bit ago. The ace one needs a lil work and the other one needs work in the hand and arm dept. Anyway hints on how to better fix those areas?

yeah it's really really nice ...

but i agree with the hair comment ... i just don't really like that style that it's done in ... but taking the hair out of the pictures it's VERY good ^^

I think u were talking about the "Gatts" pic on the prev page Kenshin and i have since changed the hair Smile

Anyway Sam the pic is pretty cool man. I have a few comments though. One is that it looks like u sort of 'sketch-ink'. When u go to ink you should make smooth connected lines to give ur pic a crisp look. I also think that u should recopy or clean up ur pic before inking so that u don't see the erase marks from the sketch phase. And lastly i suggest u try to use Sharpie pens to ink the larger black areas and smaller micron or staedtler pens ,with sizes ranging from .05 mm to .7 (or maybe larger but i haven't seen them), for the smaller details. I've used them to ink and they give awsome lines, better detail control, and don't produce the layered effect on the larger areas. Only vice with sharpies is that they bleed so try to use paper made for inking and don't put other pics/things under it (they're nice and permanent :O) U can get sharpies just about anywhere for like a buck a pop but the other ones are between 2-3 bux each. Being an artist is expensive Shocked

Everything is good execpt for that lip, it looks kinda big doesn't it?
