well i thought anime was going to be more hyped up but i think the fame of it is just dwindling. there's a lotta great anime out there, but i have a feeling that the more recent/ newer anime isn't as interesting as the previous year..i'm hoping i'm wrong though. i hope that anime continues to improve in animation, storyline, action, and character development. _________________

The future will look bright if Funimation goes bankrupt(wishfull thinking) but i forsee it becomming a more mainstream thing and being ruined over here in america...im 100% against americanized anime...the voice actors suck and all in all we are better at making Live action movies ne ways we cater too much to the child populations ne ways _________________ [IMG:445:146:e1043afe9a]http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b210/theprophet05/mysig.jpg[/img:e1043afe9a] |

I think I'll support anime-anime, I feel that once anime is dubbed it goes down in quality. Anime will be around for a loooooooong time, so I'll keep watching. Soon I think everyone on the street, any street will know what it is. _________________ [IMG:400:100:aad9649873]http://i1.tinypic.com/mm3dsm.jpg[/img:aad9649873] |

If you don't give them the chance, then they won't improve.
I think anime will be..much more varied. I know there are manga on every possible subjects, but anime never caught on..no golfing, no eating (yes, eating, not cooking), no politics
I don't see much change in graphic style. I hope they wouldn't overdo it with the fan service and drop the plot line though. (I'd hate if anime industry have to go through the GTA phase) |

It's already been said that the more there is to choose from, the more people will have to go through to find what they like. What some people will hate, others will enjoy, this is no different then the movie industry.
People should also realize just how hard it is to create a good series, let along a good series that will run long. It's not as easy as it looks. There are alot of interesting shows out there, but they don't always catch everyones attention. Add to that, most won't get licensed or subbed. I'm pretty sure that not every series gets relayed to us, and things slip through the cracks.
I think anime will get better, not meaning that every show will get better. That simply means that there will be alot more good shows to choose from in the future, because there will be standout anime that will show up from time to time. Just like anything in entertainment, not everything will become a hit. The only thing that will matter in the end, is whether the person watching it enjoys it or not. Whether it's dubbed or subbed, if you like it, who cares what anyone else things? Support it all that you can, and show your appreciation for the show. _________________ Running from your problems only wastes time... They always catch up either way. |

dvd complete collections are coming out more rapidly (and hopefully maybe will be the ONLY way they're released, a la Galaxy Angel A) and individual volumes are getting cheaper (MSRP was $29.99, now is $24.99 for most titles).
I'm afraid for the stories and characters though. It's getting harder and harder to find more original ideas out there. Everything is pretty much "seen that, been there." I checked out the list of upcoming animes for the 1st half of 2006 and really nothing looks appealing to me. (though I suppose that's good, it'll give me a chance to save up for my trip to Japan, haha) _________________

for me an anime 3d wouldn't be as nice as it is now.
so i would say hopefully anime will be widely accepted and gets cheaper lol. _________________ http://s2.darkpirates.com/c.php?uid=73670 |

If anime keeps getting better its going to be really hard to figure out what to spend my money or computer space on. I have also noticed that I have been playing video games a lot less with all the anime I have been watching, because the stories are all more involving than those of recent video games... but I don't know. _________________ 912

I think the future of anime will be in this way:Cg (Computer Graphic)
Titles like Gantz,Ghost in the Shell SAC,Last Exile ecc. are only the beginning. _________________ "Death is certain,
