Please.. someone, please teach the writers how to make a good story.
It just amazes me that a vampire as old as Saya, older than Chevaliars and what not, still have crap for strength power and fortitude... yet Diva can kick an entire ship full of people to death.
Second, how hard is it to make plastic blood bullets.. they sure make exploding bullets with all kinds of explosives.... They can easily fill a bullet with Saya's blood and start shooting.... really really lack of imagination. |

they explained earlier in the series that "blood" bullets lost it's potency after a while when it was outside of saya's body. They also tried to create her blood but none of it worked to any success.
I'm in agreement over how much saya sucks ass. Needs more training imo. |

There does seem to be a reason for Saya's crapness though. I think every time she goes into hibernation it takes a while for her to fully reawaken afterwards. Also, there's her reluctance to drink blood, something which Diva obviously has no qualms about.
Saya could probably get to Diva's level of power, but if it means lowering herself to Diva's level, or doing things that will ultimately be harmful to herself or others, is she really likely to do that? I don't know, maybe she will later... |

i dont quite get a lot of stuff when reviewing the story back, if diva was that powerful in the first place why couldnt she bust her way out of that tower in the past, i mean she needed for saya to unlock the door with a key and everything.. something also doesnt add up, saya and diva sleeps for 30 years after a couple of years being awake, when and where did saya pick up sword fighting? also i guess being chiropterans it takes time before they get pregnant dont they? also when did amshell become a chevalier? was it before the bloody party? or was it after? and when did solomon become a chevalier? we were shown diva stark naked on the floor when solomon became one, was diva at that time recently awakened? or was she still in the zoo?
7 eps to go hope they can tie the loose ends and patch the holes by then. it seems theyre making the story as they go with this... dunno.. its not really convincing that this is a solid story. _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a] |

I found the whole "haji suppressing his full powers" thing rather lame...
I mean, i can understand his wish to not trigger any dark memories from her past, but sometimes you've got to be practical. |

I think the reason Diva never broke out of her 'prison' when living at the zoo has more to do with psychology than strength. I mean, she'd grown up there and it was all she'd ever known. Where would she go if she did break out and what reason would she have for thinking things would be any better? It wasn't until Saya opened the door for her (symbolically as well as physically) that Diva realised what she had been deprived of since birth.
At least, that's all I could come up with. I think to get the full amount of enjoyment out of this series, there has to be a fair amount of suspension of disbelief.
I thought there were 52 eps? That would make nine episodes left. Or are you watching the japanese raws and therefore way ahead of me? |

hmm i thought the reason y diva didnt broke out of her 'cage' cos she is too weak. i think on one eps, it mention that she was all alone there without any visitors or any care, could be she didnt get to drink any blood at all. without blood, she is weak. and hence when she 1st able to get out, she started a killing spree.. (show her killing and drinking all the guest's blood at the bday party)
when saya doesnt have her daily dose of blood, she too seems very weak. |

Ep 47
Solomon had tragic ending written all over him but they wasy he died was lame. They should have given him a warrior's death.
This is of course assmuning that Amshel did not do anything since we don't see Solomon break apart, just the process of crystalization.
I taught Saya would be kick ass for the last arc but now with her sleep cycle approaching she is weaker then ever.
The only reason I can see for the twins would be a sequel.
5 more episodes to the end. Hope we get an ending to remember of what has so far been an enjoyable series.

just finish watching eps 49... abit disappointed of how it ends thou... and alots of questions still unanswered.... hopefully some questions may get answered for the last few eps.....
sure hope if there is a 2nd season, mabe there will be more explaination of where they came from... mabe the 1st generation (twin sister of saya's and diva's mother?) or chevalier from the 1st generation? or prehaps in order to kill saya, she will need her aunt's blood??? or if saya's and diva's real father will appear?? how about diva's children vs 1st generation grandauntie?? .... and then, if saya were to sleep for another 30 yrs, wat will happen to those children? and wat will happen to the romance / brotherhood relation with kai?? will there be flying cars and spaceship to chevalier planet after 30 yrs??? a battle between earth born chevaliers and 'pure' chevalier aliens from other planet??? ahhh questions....
oh how i wish i'm creative enough to draw or create animes or write stories.. i'm still a sucker for 'happy everafter' stories...
on the whole.... to me, this animation had given me lots of entertainment and excitment while it lasted... |

LOL, thats exactly what i was hoping...but i specifically wanted him to become Diva's chevalier so that he could marry Saya or something like that....But obviously my hopes have been dashed. I guess becoming Saya's chevalier is the next best thing.

Yah i know what you mean. I basically thought there would many more twists, at the beginning the anime was alluding to the fact that here was much to learn about history etc. But in the end, where you'd presume that we've learnt basically all there is to know about Saya and Diva's history, there been enough depth IMO. I suppose with 2 more episodes there could still be quite a bit of storyline left to cover. Heres to hoping. |

I just watched 50... I think it's the last episode.
Lemme give people heads up... previous reviews before the series was completed are probably going to get deleted so you might have to resubmit them...
For this series more than any other series, I think it's necessary cause Blood+ story quality changed several times. |

Episode 50 is the last though I had taught it was to be 52 episodes.
After watching the raw for ep 50....
Saya and the babies live. They return to Okinawa and have a reunion dinner with friends.
Saya enters her sleep cycle.
Kai brings up the twins.
Nathan is alive!
Julia is pregnant.
As they left they ending open enough, I'm hoping for a sequel to the show
