haha it was just something i thought up since like the 4th episode... it makes no sense XD maybe it has something to do with the Robe Materialization rather than the nano-machines, but it was funny lol

another thing to wonder about ~

ok Nina's the real princess, and Arika is Rena Sayer's daughter...Mikoto is the last "HiME"... So what about Mashiro? im just taking a wild guess, but i think Aoi is her big sister; i think it'd make sense.

I thing i dun like about Mai-Otome now is its pacing. Mai-HiME at this stage(ep. 23) was building up the tension n adrenaline n drama which has been building up since it was revealed tht the HiME's had to fight each other. Dramatic scenes of chaos, one plot revelation after another, Heartbreaking moments which built up to the ending(which i felt belonged to "and they lived happily ever after" children stories). The breakneck pace kept u wanting 4 more.

I thought mai-otome was going to do the same thing starting from ep. 17 when Erstin died. But instead, they slow the pace down n reveal plot points tht are downright unnecessary n uninteresting (save for the revelation tht Nina is the true Windbloom Princess), n now TRAINING wif only 3 episodes left????

This is getting good!!! I'm soooooooo excited about the last episodes. I can't wait.

Also, what makes a pillar? Are they good at fighting, top of their class? I never caught that in the series, so I'm just wondering. And, who makes the decision of who gets what gem? Does it depend on their skill?

Heres the developments for ep 24

1>Akane and her man are at a cheap hotel doing the "wild thang" hilarious!!! The guards take him away haha Im thinking since the king of his country is dead they are recruiting!
2>Tomoe is Shizirus baby, in the end you see her lying on the bed naked with a blanket of course and a pacifer in her mouth and rattles in her hand, WTF!!
3>Arika is finally ready to fight...tho it shows her for like 4 secs of the show
4>Nina reads Eristens letter and breaks down. Seregy enters and she begs him to take her powers from her....in other words...the WILD THANG haha...he kisses her then.......yep....he did her.....said it was to protect her! um ICK!...note the translations are sketchy so im not 100 on this...im only 90 he he
5>Nao and Natsuki have the biker look again and are back together with the underground group in the kingdom..
6>All 5 pillars are assembled
7>Everyone has elf ears...dunno whats up with that!
8>Tomoe gets slapped by Nina, about time!
9>Seregi shoots Smith and then gets shot by that little shit boss of his.....
10>Nina finds out about her "woody allan" (daddy) **hee hee couldnt resist the comment ... sorry all im in a weird mood **and gets brainwashed yet again by Nagi into doing his bidding....
11>Nao got a piller gem, dunno how tho
12>The fight begins!!

Any thoughts? Next week is the last ep....Ill have to get right on the upcoming eps list tomorrow to giveyou guys a good idea of what is out there!!

In reference to your 11th point, Nao got assigned a Pillar gem when she graduated. We knew this already. :-p

As to why on earth they chose her...I guess it's because no matter unmotivated she may be, she's still hard as nails.

Does anyone know what Miyu pulled out of the lava? I wonder if it's something for Arika? And who is that character from the beginning of the OP that has the one red eye and wings? Could that be Arika when she's all powered up?

I can answer that question, only through this HUGE following spoiler text.

Nina no longer wanted her powers, for the sake of Erstin, and possibly Arika. Therefore, her daddy was the only one she truly trusted and wanted to do that for her. Unfortunately, it seems that her Gem is still active, and grants her access to the destructive powers of the Harmonium.

Speaking of the Harmonium, anyone catch Sergey floating above Nina in some kind of green translucent coffin-like thing? Does it have to do with... ressurecting him? If so, "Somebody's gonna get a hurt real bad." Yay, Smith is dead. Btw, does anyone know about the new Otome that visited Ealis? Who is she, and why does she look like the grown up version of Mimi?

Reito was wounded, and the feminine guy of the team: killed. Huge guy doesn't seem to be present either. And Yohko reached Aswad village. Don't know what kind of party she will play, nor what kind of part that Midori will play.

There was also a notice near the end, the scene with Arika. Something happening? Anyone know?

so much for rigorous training, they just skip to the part where arika's all badass... and is it me or does this series have some seriously messed up tendencies?

like in Mai HiME ( for those who havent seen it yet)

the lesbian scene with Shizuru and Natsuki

and now the whole father/daughter thing?.... they're kinda pushing it with the wierd crap going on now, not to mention the whole fact that EVERYONE seems to love Tate/Sergay.... to me hes just retarded

The other friend has to be Arika. So Nina & Sergay most likely believe Arika was killed by Nina. So Sergay was on a break, so to speak. Can't wait for the reunion.

Yes, I was cringing my face when I saw the Sergey/Nina relationship scene.

I wasn't too surprised though, this whole taboo theme is just too common in everything from games to anime. It gotten to the point where almost always you run into some kind of taboo scenario involving incest, teacher/student, underage issues. In dating sim games, you'd almost ALWAYS have a sister character. Seriously, this thing is going just too far in Japan.

Sergey/Nina thing is just wrong... I don't care if they're not blood related, this is just wrong. He raised her since she was very little, he just can't do this.

This is as bad as one of the endings I got from Princess Maker 2... my adopted daughter became a writer, but she confesses her love to me... and we married... Confused

I was dumbfounded when I got this ending... WTH is wrong with this world?

Got a question that i need to clear from episode 24

How the heck Nina can still use the Black Diamond gem and played the harmonium if she just lose her otome powers with her relationship with Sergey. HOW??? O.O

and next week episode is 1 hr Wohoo
