no way that's the 2nd season of my hime! (going to download in 2 seconds). saiyaman called it may-zhime so i thought this was 2 complete different things.

sorry for asking this question again, but which sub is better ?

the Static-Subs have a LQ (175mb) and a HQ (233mb) both avi,
the Lime sub have so many mistake so that y there is ver 3 of eps 1 and it mite take awhile it eps 2 to come out,
and the last subber Doremi-OTOME which already have eps 2 out with ok quality, the size for the 1 eps is 217mb.

all my mai-hime is d/led from Static-Subs but i have d/l the Doremi-OTOME since they came out 1st (being waiting for it every since i heard there would be a 2nd season),
so basically i want to know is it worth re-downloading the Static-Subs HQ
or lime ver 3 or just stick with Doremi-OTOME since they will put out the lastest eps 1st ?

anyway,

i like mai-hime but i really hate those annoying people which i forgot thiers name but i think u know who i am talking about Wink

and it seem to me the princess is going to fill that gap in this serie.

Wow, episode 2 really changed my opinion of this series. The first episode just seemed to be spouting nonsense and made it very confusing to figure out what was happening, but after re-watching episode 1 and seeing episode 2 for the first time, I can say that I am very much on board with this new season.

We have seen many old characters return: Natsuki, Shiziru, Tate, Akane, Mashiro, uhhh the tubby info-guy (what's his name?), Shiho, Nagi, Nao, Mikoto (hahaha, in a non-human form, didn't see that one coming), am I missing anyone? In the opening animation, we see all of the Mai-HiME characters for glimpse, so we can expect a full return, I would think.

I like how they modified Mashiro's character. I always thought she was cute and wise, but she didn't get to really branch out in the first series. Now as a whiny brat princess, she gets much more vocal and energetic.

I loved the chase sequence that was featured through much of this episode. Of course, rumors seem to travel faster than the actual events being discussed since everyone in the school seemed to know about Arika being chased as it was happening. The girl has some nice ability, and in bare feet too, I cringed every time I saw her skid around a corner. Someone get her some skin cream, quick!!

I've also warmed up to the opening and closing music. Oh, and final note, I think my new favorite character is Tomoe-chan who is in 2nd place in the Coral Division. She's the girl about 5 and a half minutes in who has green-blue hair (I always have to choose between blue and green cute girls, now I get the best of both worlds!!). Anyone else notice that most of scenary is desert? They must be in some oasis city in the middle of nowhere, either that or global warming has become a serious problem in the HiME universe.

I downloaded both LIME and OTOME, but I think LIME subs isn't that exactly right. OTOME did a better job in fansubing I think... but too bad they don't attach lyrics on the opening and ending... Sad

Xeno, you forget Mai, our heroine... ^^

Well... ep2 is Hilarious and is nice to see those old character make appearance including our Nun which I pratically forgot her name... oh and Nagi new role really surprise me... Can't Believe he is the King...

Yea... Lord is right, sheesh... I wish I could see Mai though I'm not a fan of her... I'm a little curious on her role in Mai-Otome since we still got the word "Mai" as the title rite?

Who knows... she might be the Evil Mastermind Behind those Slaves? I was wondering if the black armor suit person is Mai as well although that person sounds like a guy...

Well, warning!! Don't read if you don't want to be seriously spoiled!!!

I read somewhere that it was actually confirmed, that the girl who were in the middle of the flames (the one who was blacked out) was indeed Mai. What role that she played, we won't know yet.

Ummm... I can't make a comparison since I only Downloaded Static's HQ Ver. But the quality is indeed good epecially the subtitle's which are vibrantly color coded to every charcater.

hehehe... but why not start from 1 for uniformity? Static's gonna gol all the way anyway since theirs is the best version of Mai Hime... plus the subs are way better than their previous effort...
