I've been thinking about it.
Somewhere along the story when Arika comes to notice the legend of the fire string ruby, i would appear that the illustration showed a silhouette of 'Tate'.
So when i started to think back, what if Sergey wasn't that old geezer's orginal name?
I mean, he could be part of Zipang as Tate Wong...
He might have switched names when the incident with Mai happened. (It actually fits in quite correctly since the Legend of the FSR was supposed to be 5 years ago.)
And oh, i have a very bad feeling that Nina will be killed in action. (Since that's a mmost effective way to take out Nagi was to eliminate his Otome, the 'good side' might decide to gang up on Nina.) |

Arika has released all of her power.
She's no longer the Blue Sky Sapphire, but she's now the Ultimate Blue Sky.
Yay for the ultimates! If you think about it, no one except Nina, Shinso and Arika have Ultimate gems, therefore have realized their true powers. |

But quickly got cut off only after less than a minute... I think they're doing this on purpose to tick off Natsuki fans.

It's all over now  The ending was ok, but I have this gnawing feeling that a lot of potential was missed, maybe it's just my imagination...
Overall the end fight was ok, but maybe too rushed . I was so hoping for a flashy battle between Arika and über Nina/Harmonium!
No more Otome waah! We'll luckily there's still that mysterious OVA, but there probably won't be no more "Mai-Something" series coming anymore, well hopefully I'm wrong
It's weird how Nina and Arika both survived that fall. Shouldn't they at least be quite badly burnt from falling back to Earth atmosphere naked?

Perhaps something with Tomoe-chan might come up in the OVA. I'm really wishing for it since it would continue the Mai-Otome series! Then again, who would really want to team up with Tomoe the **tch? Unless she somehow miraculously gets past Mikoto and Mai to free Nagi from his new home, then there would be something to talk about!
Tomoe really gives Arika a hard time, and also vows to have revenge. I mean, it's not enough material to add to the storyline.
But if they really are going to make OVA's, they better not have Mai-Otome in the title! |

| LOL yes...how did Aoi survive...maybe its jsut a replacement maid! =__="...i thoroughly enjoyed this series...since episode 1...i thought it'd be kiddy and childish but it was actually entertaining and fun!! har har har...mai chan...ahh i missed her so much >.< heh and yea the only way to get sergay's love...is by brainwashing him! LOL...go nina =)...i liked her hair in the end...it was kawaii XD...akane chan was cute too...mmm...school girls...mmm lol *jail-bait XD |

Did anyone else notice that when Arika got her blue robe, that her hair was magically darker? I loved that new robe, but the new one at the end is a mix of both robes, which look really weird.

| i really dun get why her robe was mixed at the end. she went thru so much trouble to get it and the animators put on the old robe at the end with some blue in it. it makes me feel like they did the last scene b4 way b4 they figured out the plotline with arika and unlocking the robes power. |

poopy.... my big dream for a big battle was ruined... just one stab... *sigh* but all in all a good series to watch
just finished posting, and i gotta say, they threw in some random otome at the end... O_O but i did like akane's kitty ears... cat-girls FTW!
i really loved static's job with the series. except for minor spelling erros it was great, and i liked their little info piece at the end of 26 about all the GEMs and the Otome too. 10/10 for static!! woot!
and i like the way the subtitle... they use the color of the speaker's hair to outline the words.... if you didnt notice

In the scene where Fia and Midori were battling, and when midori killed Fia, Midori said " If you want revege, Meet me in the world of stars"...
World of Stars? anyone have any idea?..
I was thinking maybe in heaven or something.. since shes dead and all. or maybe thats the clue/hint to the next season. (like how arika was behind natsuki in the last episode of hime)
Imagine that... the next seasons plot might be around "The world of stars"
Mai Hime, Mai otome, and now maybe ? Mai Star?
