That's the idea, except for the point that Yuji doesn't 'join' in the cause against the Guze. The whole feel is quite apocalyptic, so that's what we might see in the future: A Matrix-like anime in terms of concept...
I hope its okay to post again, since no one's been posting anyway...
Here's what I think about episode 6:
Basically, Friagne died in a rather lame way, though the usage of that bell must have drained him of his Fuzetsu and his sanity, considering he was stroking a non-existent Marian. Seems like Shana's getting more confused over Yuuji, but she finally acknowledges him as something like a friend...or maybe more, I don't know, especially since she smiled at him and acted more friendly towards him...
The action wasn't too bad, save for Friagne's death. It was interesting seeing how Shana had something of an emotional struggle, since she was considering Yuuji's safety when Friagne took him hostage. Basically, an episode which sees a little more character development and Yuuji shines yet again as a hot-blooded teenager who wants to help despite having no ability to fight.

No worries, I was waiting for eclipse's version. And double-posting is allowed as in bumping a thread
hmmm ep 6
The end of the current arc it seems... Friagne died as a maniac, well that's what you get as an end, if you fell in love with a doll
On other notes, Sakai's role is being defined more clearly it seems. He seems to be the "eye" that Shana being missing, and Shana can fight more efficiently and for some reasons her power just increased (And for some perverted reasons, I can mistook the words "My body suddenly feeling hot" in another context ). He's also can be the "drive" as Shana's body just reacted to Sakai's order.
On other note: Looks like Shana wanted for her existence to be varified. That's why he snapped at the word "just" Sakai's used, not knowing that without it, it can mean many things in Sakai's mom eyes _________________ ...

I agree totally on that. Looks like Sakai's become a less wimpy as people would prefer to call him.
Shana's getting a little more 'human' too. She feels emotions that a normal human would feel, like when she hesitated in taking Alastor's advice and stopped her sword mid-way when trying to kill him. Her look of surprise should be enough to say that what she was feeling was something she could not comprehend.
There was also a look of concern or worry for Yuuji when she chased after Friagne, and the first time she warms up to Yuuji near the end of the episode. The preview...I wonder whose bathtub was Shana in?
yeah i agree, i felt episode six was lacking in organization and also the action felt random at times. I didn't think it was that well done, and yes, friagne died in a horrendously lame manner. But then again, its been awhlie since any show has done really good fight scenes

Hmm...I don't think the show's going to bank too much of action, so we shouldn't worry about it, and the randomness of the action...I'm thinking the same could be said for other animes like Black Cat, though their action scenes were still exciting. The action isn't too flashy, at least, unlike Dragonball or Bleach...
it'll be nice to see some allusions to the old school action scenes. I miss scenes of DBZ, of some dude, getting hit, then crashing into a mountain, splitting it in half, and then flying like 200 miles through a desert into a lake. as retarded as that sounds, it was just awesome.
No offense intended, but I think DBZ's action is a tad bit too boring. True, it looks good, but it's repetitive as well.
Back on topic. I think the series has a less definitive genre to most people, since it's a mix. There'll probably be school drama, angst, romance (maybe) and its main theme of fantasy. It doesn't completely bank on one genre to make the show look good.

Well then... ep 7
Wheee, another fanservice in the middle of an important talk between Sakai and Alastor. My comments on it, I given it in the alamehaze's channel
[07:31] > that must be watch twice at least
[07:31] > first to enjoy the sights
[07:31] > second to enjoy the subs
[07:31] > all other repeats are to fap
On other note, I was "Heh"-ing when Shana called Sakai by the name "Yuji". She must have getting pretty comfortable with him
"With him, I feel I can do anything" <--- Early warnings of romance that we saw on the OP? _________________ ...

LOL...You post on Flamehaze's channel too huh...
Yeah, Shana is starting to get more comfortable with Yuuji by calling his first name, albeit a little shyly at first. The training scene, staying with Yuuji and Chigusa for that time being, and those occasional blushes might just lead to something, you never know...
Poor Yuuji for getting hit on the head. At least he proved himself to be rather useful in the brains department as well as a little determination to see through the training (which Shana smiled at that. ^^).
Poor Marcosius. The episode was not too bad, at least, even though he was swung about by a drunk Marjorie. Character development for mostly Marjorie and Marcosius, as well as a little with Alastor, Shana and Yuuji. Can't wait for the next one, where more action begins...

Hehehe, have to join the convo whenever there is one
Marco and Margery did have a soft side after all. Marco was pretty kind when he bade the two good night, and when she talked about Margery's past, and Margery herself attached too much to those two

That's what many people think, thanks to the fanservice. Luckily its not a show with its main theme as that, that's why there's a good storyline, character development and decent plot development as well. It's a mix of genres, so don't worry about getting bored in this anime.
