why did people post all those scores and chapters in the first page?? i didn't see anyone ask for them

slam dunk is pretty exciting. considering that it's a mix between gangster fighting and transferring that fight into a good game of basketball, it's really is a creative plot. the characters' personalities also contribute to the development of later animes, such as Naruto and Fruits Basket. well, not really fruits basket (since kyou isn't the main character), but the characters relate to one another in such a way:

sakuragi hanamichi = uzumaki naruto, souma kyou
rukawa kaede = uchiha sasuke, souma yuki

now, more than often, there would be an idiot with a lot of potential and a quiet loner genius (who is more appreciated by the public), both of who start out the story. the idiot would have some kind of crush or appreciation for the main girl, who is, however, attracted to the quiet loner.

i can't fathom enough, however, about how those "check" kids annoy me. "check!" here, "check!" there. man, just SHUT THE FUCK UP!

ye, anime is good but i prefer manga. I felt that sometimes the serie moves too slowly (i.e. the character spending 5-10 minutes flashback before making any moves)

Slam Dunk is one of the greatest anime ever created.It's the first anime and manga i've watch and i fell in love with anime since then. The plot of the story make the the story intresting and its character looks alive. The combination of element such as love,spirit,conflict,friendship and comedy make it great.

sadly the anime ended before the inter-high, it would be awesome to see Shohoku vs Sannoh animated.
