Apparently someone has licensed Slamdunk for sale in the US. I was at Fry's in Renton, WA and saw the first DVD on sale.

yeah the anime is very good the funny thing each match in real live last about 45min or an hours cant remember to be exactly but the anime is like one match can last to 2ep or more with the amount of details they go into some time but its a very good anime

i miss slam dunk....why the hell did that channel in our place did not finish the series....it was like the last part of the tournament...i thnk i remembered the last episode i saw...were sakuragi saw that big guy....

watching SD is pretty fun. But its nothing compared to Dear Boys and Buzzer Beater. I noticed something in common with most of the b-ball mangas..most of em involves high school kids. =.=

loved the anime and it is the best basketball series out if only they kept on making more to follow the manga

Yeah, this was one of the best sport anime out there. Pity the anime ended so soon. Didnt carry on with the manga/

i watched all 101, 4 OVA:s and readed all 31 volumes of mangaa bout six months ago and just love it ^^ its best sport anime what i have ever seen and its so fun to watch ^^ Hanamichi rocks!
