the latest ending theme from naruto, Parade with CHABA. i usually don't dig that kind of music but that one is really good, and i don't know if this fits in but the new kingdom hearts song, passion, is awesome!

but i think .hack//sign has the best ost/background music

I would have to say the Shakugan no Shana Intros and Outros. I believe all of them are really nice.
