What anime would you use to hook other non anime addicts?

I used Naruto on my brother but the problem was he doesn't like watching anything else now but that. He really stubborn.

Umm.. It all depends. I have a cousin who isn't into mecha, so My attempt to use Fafner failed, although I did succeeded with school rumble (a comedy). i guess it would have to depend on the person you're trying to hook. I wouldn't be surprised if someone gets hooked into Anime by watching hentai first.

I used love hina on all of my friends, hooked atleast six of them in one school year.

I have a friend who's not into games, computers, or anime. He's very strange, but thats besides the point. I have shown him naruto, evangelion, samurai x, and noir. He really likes the music in samurai x, and with naruto and evangelion, he seems to be enjoying it, but not enough to get him hooked. For some reason though, he absolutly loves noir. Go figure. I'm going to show him Get Backers soon. Maybe I'll try some comedy next.

Gotta be action stuff and lots of gore to lure em in, like Ninja scroll, kenshin'trust and betrayal' for some story and action, can't go wrong there
Or maybe something funny, slamdunk and such. but if your gonna try to hook someone gotta be Either Action/violent or just comedy at its peak.

i would definately have to go with bleach. i would know that this is the best cause already i have converted 5 of my anime-phobic friends to anime-philes and they just cant get enough of it.

gotta go w/ gantz for the people who like blood death gore and violence, for girls id probably go w/ Onegai sensei or twins...maybe mai hime depending on how into fantasy they were. also there are some DnD Fanatics out there so Ragnarok online would be good to use on them and an all around good one to use is any KEY production...AIR TV should be used w/ caution though it can really scar someone.
