Gaaras power

I believe its just like Naruto. He has the demon inside him but its not neccesarily all his power. The demon can sometimes take over or loan some power to the user.

I think it might be more the demon power than his own. The bit about that sand coating his body to prevent him from harm was there since birth/sealing of the one tail, and that's been said to not done by Gaara, but the sand itself covers him. I don't think Gaara's abilities will remain as before, there may be techniques he can still use, but the mastery of the sand is probably quite weaker than before, if he didn't lose the absolute defense already.

I think that Gaara has power from Shukaku mainly.....

But all the attacks he comes up with is his own.. his ability to have control over Shukaku is also quite good...

gaara mostly used his own strength, during most battles, and it is hard to control sand as well as he can. Even if uyou have the power you need to control it well.

Yeah, i believe Shukaku only acts as a defensive manuever. It reacts instantly from attack. However he wills himself to do the other moves. If you compare the moves Shukaku uses with the fight with gamabunta, then you'd see none of his moves correspond to gaara's so its my belief that the coffin move, armor of sand, and all those other moves are taught to him by someone.

His jutsu comes from his own strength, as he is the one that controls it, even if it stems from the Shukaku.

now tht Gaara has lost the Shukaku, the only abilities he'll lose r the automatic Shield of Sand, n his ability to turn into a sand monster...He'll probably use the Armor of Sand more now.......

I got the impression Gaaras ability to control sand without seals was shukakus influence. although since hes lost gaara it'd be interesting to see what he does now.

it gaara own power... it is shown in naruto chapter 282,

even when gaara's shukaku power were absorb he can still use his sand to shake hand with naruto

shukaku only supply him with numerous chakura

i think its his own power, and the shukaku just gave him more chakra... i think gaara should still be pretty strong in the manga

Gaara still can use his sand powers eventhough shukaku has been extracted from him by the Akatsuki. This proves when Gaara uses the power of the sand to shake hands with Naruto.
