I've been thinking.... what/how/when/who started ANIME-SOURCE???
I can't think of any intro, cause I don't have any info. So post anything you know about the historical background of this.... site.

Nah, they just asked about when it started, but about how.... Well, we can wait for admins like AK, macer, Kaiser and old admins to see this and gave their comments on this.
The only thing I knew that this site was founded in 2002. Actually there are more founders other than Kai and Frundy if I am not wrong.

Well it all started when Kaiser was in germany,
He was a young laddie, a good laddie.....but that all changed when he met frundock!!
Frundock was a rebel!! A Non-conformist who wished to corrupt the young citizens of tomorrow.
To achieve such an end who would have had to start..that's rite.....an Anime-website!!! But firstly, frundock needed young innocent blood!!
So he went to the graveyard and dug up a dead body!! He sold the dead body and bought himself a nice SUV to drive around looking for kiddies to corrupt.....and there....he found........kaiser
LOL, if you haven't guessed by now, i have no idea!!!

My theory
Kaiser and Frundock were buddies that were into anime and they had this miraculous idea of making an anime website. Frundock to do the coding, while Kaiser does the general work. Eventually they assembled a website which featured manga, anime, and a forum. Later on, AngelKing (a possible other buddy) joined the legacy. The word of Anime-Source later on spread across the web and banners were put up across anime sites all over.
Years later and to this day, Anime-Source stands tall as one of the many popular anime sites in the world wide web.

That doesn't answer the full question though "What/How/When/Who started Anime-Source?"
You've only answered when and who, but not How it all started. |
