What/How/When/Who started Anime-Source?

Going back even before Frundock's reply:
Before there was an A-S there was CAAM, (The Canadian Allied Anime Mafia), and yes we were goofy and called ourselves the mafia even though it had nothing to do with mafia and we weren't all in Canada, which was partially on a smaller website, partially a community on Hotline, and partially happening through IRC. Soo, from what I knew, things started with several hotline servers that joined, then became a website where we attempted to put up lots of reviews w/o huge regards for quality, then a bigger website with the reviews, then an Encyclopedia, then. . . . well, everything you see now. Manga, the encyclopedia, the articles & etc weren't here at the beginning. So, just so y'all know, there was a community that came before the A-S community, hence the reason evolution was mentioned. Any of the others that remember this, correct me if I'm wrong (though I'm not sure who's still left anymore that can actually remember hotline). Anyhow, we may want a concrete version of how things got started written at some point, since this topic seems to come up so often.
