Who think games these days really suck?

Games now a days have traded gameplay and good story lines for incredible graphics. Occationally there would be a few games that are both great in game play, story and graphics but there are too few that the gaming community is being covered in crap..

OH YES! Because allllll the old school games had the most amazing stories to tell. First off, when you ask for amazing stories you end up with games that are practically movies (aka Metal Gear and Xenosaga). When you ask for games with amazing graphics you get crap like Final Fantasy! I think you guys are missing the main point of a game. A game is made to be fun. If a game isnt fun then it doesnt matter if it has the greatest story in the world or if its graphics are "teh roxors".

Don't tell me there aren't any good games out there. The problem is that you guys aren't looking for good games. You are looking for mediocre games with high production value. Here's an idea. The next time you go to your local game store to buy the next "big hit", try looking at the box next to GTA or FF and you might find something worth buying.

I just hope you guys don't call yourself gamers.
