You may have seen what my cousin have done, drying up her coloring pens. But here's another coloring pen artist. She's the friend I was talking about. I forgot her title for these, but the picture is what matters right?
Oh, and I resized the pic. And added a border because I scanned it a bit awkward.... hehe. Gomen~

I like it
The first one has a good mix of primaries that gives it color harmony.
Same goes with the second one, with the mix of greens and reds.
If there is a point deductor, it would be the saturation being a bit too bright.

Saturation? I didn't edit it in any way. She drew that way. Great huh? It looks like a Photoshop image..... she's great. 
And the first pic, she thought of doing it pink and light blue. But I told her it would remove the 'Gothic' feeling in it. Red is kind of a color of blood, so it'd suit it better, ne?
Oh, and she's a bit of a Gothic gal. But she doesn't dress in black stuff and things like that. Although she likes vampires... 
And the second pic is a vampire one. She and her twin sister is making a fanfic about it. She drew lots more, but these are the only ones I got. I'll try and pry them off her sometime.

Wow those are great! Shes really talented! I wouldn't be able to draw anything like that nor would I be able to colour. Damn!
Have you ever seen ghostrevolutions drawings though? |

Yes! Oh yes! His are the greatest I've seen so far!! I really love his drawings, they're so complex! As if he took a picture of it and drew it.
Everytime he posts something new, I jump in it right away. I tried copying his once, ended up with a paper with holes on it. I guess... I'm not talented with pencil. Hehe.... yeah.

Well, I think for the second pic, she's trying to portray that the bedsheets are faded pink. And I guess it'd be hard to fill all of it up with color pens...
maybe she ran out of ink..?

Hehe, well she does copy some of her ideas from manga. Mostly from CLAMP, just like what my cousin does.
But the character's features, face, clothes and other things were originally her own. Just the posing and the concept are what she uses as a guide.
And your avatar does look VERY old. Is that a 50's anime?

Wow that's fantastic! I love the bright coloring and nice lineart she has, great work - will you tell her that for me? ^^ The first one's so cute since it reminds me of mana XD (a jrocker)

Wow, you know about Mana too??? She did design that first character to Mana! the Gothic J-rocker from Malice Mizer right? Haha, Celine really likes Gothic things... Oh, the bear has a "Dix" on its forehead, can you see?
It stands for 10 in French. Pronounced as "Dwa". Hehe, some random trivia~
Oh, and I'll surely tell her that you liked her drawing. Thank you very much!

Haha, I know she gave me an old drawing of hers.... forgot where I put it. These two were lost before... good thing my mom remembered where'd she put them.

Ditto. I tried to persuade her to teach me or just give me tips on how to draw. Well she says "Just keep on drawing. Don't be afraid to try new styles/postures. If it's awkward, just try a different approach... once you've drawn a hundred pics, you'll get the hang of it."
Now, that promise I really took seriously. I bought three notebooks to fill my sketches, and I must say, her tips are becoming true. I've drawn my two notebooks cover to cover, and now I'm on my third.
My drawings now are clearer, more anime-looking than before. With each page I fill with ideas, I get more confident. I think I'll post here the last page of my third notebook when I get to it, just to give you guys how I've improved.
I don't know how to draw before, now... well I'll let you guys decide...
