Heyhey RM fans!
I just finished the first season in one bunch the other day... loved it, loved it, loved it. Running a little behind on season 2, but am really on board with it. I cannot get enough of Suisei Seki (Sue-say seck-ee), she's so cute and yet is a little monster at the same time. She seems to have matured a lot since the break in seasons. (oh, and to clarify since this is a mistake in the 1st season synopsis, Sousei Seki (Soy-say sek-ee) is her twin SISTER, not brother... she's just dressed as a boy cause her master had issues with the sudden death of his real son, thought I'm sure someone's already mentioned that elsewhere).
I love the dichronomous eyes the twins have, very christmasy (same as Asuna from Mahou Sensei Negima). I got a lot of catching up to do in order to actively participate in this conversation. I'll be back in a day or two.
Anyone know if Season One has been licensed yet? _________________

It's actually quite simple to know. Try searching for it at animesuki. If it's not there, then it's licensed. There are other method, but for someone like me, it's simple enough

Am I the only who was a little dissapointed with episode 12? If that was the series ending, I think they fell short.
Anyone know if there's another season coming up? |

I think I've gone Rozen Maiden crazy. Just watched the whole show the first seasone the other day(actually took two days). This anime has moved up the ranks in my book pretty dan fast...couldn't help the cuteness^^
I just finished watching this today , Traumend I mean. Show was as cute as ever. The only thing that bothered me was kanaria's eye's. They looked like....doll's eyes. She didn't seem to have facial expressions nor did her eyes seem to move, maybe its just me.
Ending= BOO!! ><

Aimai from 4chan claims to be working on getting the Rozen Maiden scans out to the community, I'll notify you guys when I get a copy via IRC. Those who know me on IRC would know my IRC name and anyone who doesn't needs to figure it out.

I'm a bit late, but i finally just dug up ep 12 of traumend to watch today....................oiy, the show was just as fun, entertaining, cute, adorable, interesting as the first one.........all the way until the very end.
It's a bit dissapointing, maybe there'll be a RM3. (anyone have a clue as to wether there's such a possibility?) i hope so.....because I really love Hina-Ichigo!!! |

Hi, somehow this anime caught my interest. After reading around a bit. I didn't readed all pages, since obviously there's alot spoilers without spoiler tag.
But from review i found on A-S i got the following.
So basically a guy gets a doll sended to him by mistake and the doll came alive, and he has to play in a Alice game with his doll or something in those lines.
Now that really sounds alot like Fate Stay Night to me. I watched FS/N and i liked it. But is Rozen Maiden Similair to FS/N ? From what i understand about the reviews i saw this would be a bit like FS/N?
And also i notice there is:
Rozen Maiden 2004
Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre 2006
Rozen Maiden: Träumend 2005
The right order of watching would be 2004-2005-2006 i assume ?
And which fansub do you recommend for Rozen Maiden? From what i saw there is Ayu, and Anime-Keep. _________________ [IMG:430:120:e3eaef3cc8]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s100/Sephi2K7/Signature/Yurisigv1b.jpg[/img:e3eaef3cc8] |

Ok, I can tell you the basic scenario without spoiling.
The dolls are all made by a German master doll maker named Rozen who created several dolls who are grouped as Rozen Maidens. This was about more than 100 years ago I assume.
Rozen was trying to make the perfect doll which he calls "Alice", and the Rozen Maiden dolls wanted to fulfill his dream. By defeating and taking all other Rozen Maidens' Rosa Mystica (kind of magical spirit that makes them "living" dolls), the winner can achieve becoming the perfect doll "Alice". That's the basic summary of Alice game.
Jun, the main character of the story is socially withdrawn kid who doesn't go to school and stays home all the time. One day, he comes across a strange doll and activates it by turning its key. He becomes that doll (Shinku)'s medium; who supplies the energy to the doll.
He's really just an outsider to the Alice game. The Rozen Maidens fight each other on their own, the mediums only need to supply them with energy necessary for them to fight.
Rozen Maiden 2004 is the first season you should watch.
Rozen Maiden: Träumend 2005 is the continuation from the first season.
The recently released Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre 2006 takes place during the time around Träumend's episode 1~5 midway I guess. In Ouvertüre, one of the dolls tell the main character Jun the story of earlier Alice games long time ago (100 years or more). _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |

Actually, Ouvertüre takes place exactly between eps 6 and 7 of Träumend. The context is fitting and it is confirmed by the numer of attempts by Kanaria to infiltrate Jun's house (she keeps count). _________________

Ah thanks for the answers. For some reason this anime seems really interesting. And i don't even like dolls or something ^^
But either way, il try get my hands on it. I'm a bit bored of to much drama anime so this one seems to be good one to watch for now.
Yea i watched Gundam seed + destiny + evangelion in 2 weeks...
Need something else for now.
Ill watch Rozen maiden after School rumble or between it
Btw the Rozen Maiden episodes from Anime Keep doesnt work, in case someone was going to download them. They give cannot render error for me. And i tried ep1 and 2. Both give same error. Getting them from Ayu now.
And btw is it somewhat similar to Fate stay night? _________________ [IMG:430:120:e3eaef3cc8]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s100/Sephi2K7/Signature/Yurisigv1b.jpg[/img:e3eaef3cc8] |

No, it's not same at all. The mediums are just regular humans who happen to find and wind up the key to the doll. Most times, the humans don't even realize the dolls are out there trying to murder each other. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img] |
