Since the old what to watch was mostly just spammed we've removed it and now made a new one. Also because I was tired of seeing people recommend Naruto 5 times on every page, we get it alredy.

There are now rules in it, If you want to recommend something you CAN'T just write as example "I recommend ***" neither can you write "***". If you do not follow the rules it will be considered as spam and you will be reported and the post will be deleted.

1. Name of the anime

2. What genre it's in, if your not sure just guess and write "I think it's *** but Im not sure about it"

3. Number of episodes, if it's ongoing and you don't no the number of eps then write "ongoing" (Optional)

4. Say what it's about, explain more then "It's about ninjas" "It's about a dude who kills monsters" "It's a romance series". If your not good at explaining or have a hard time with it you can always go Here and copy the synopsis for the anime or at www.anidb.net. We do however rather have you write your own.

5. What you thought of it the anime, don't write somehing like "I liked it." say why you liked it as well.

6. No recommending Naruto (Since the old one got spammed with basicly just people screaming "NARUTO")

7. No comments like "Yeah I like that one too" all in all no comments at all

8. Provide a link to the database on this site for the anime (Optional) there a link to the review site in the forth rule

9. For example look at the post by Himitsu right under this one

Okey dokey! I guess I'll get started. (Genre will be listed in order of decreasing significance/intensity)

Anime suitable for just about everybody:
Hunter x Hunter - unlicensed - Action, Comedy, Adventure - this series just captured my undivided attention immediately. They presented each character as unique as well as lovable. I'm not a big fan of the OP/ED songs, but because this series is so memorable, I listen to the songs all the time. If you like Naruto, you'll enjoy this one (even if you don't, you'll probably like it!). Oh, and lets not forget Killua (resumes to fangirlism~)

Hikaru no Go - licensed - Go, Drama, Competition Comedy - I'm still dumbfounded as to how they made an anime about a board game sooooo great! I'm guessing it's all about the presentation: in the characters, music, camera angles, the flow of the story. I really liked the OP/ED songs for Hikaru no Go (except the last ED song: Music is my Thing). This is in my top 5 list, why wouldn't I be mentioning it? You know, I can't think of any other series that is similar to Hikaru no Go.

Full Moon wo Sagashite - unlicensed - Romance, Drama, Music, Comedy - a more "girly" show. From reading reviews, people mostly really liked watching Full Moon wo Sagashite or found it quite unenjoyable. I'm sure the majority loved it though. Kaiser deemed it the most emotional, dramatic anime series in one of his editorials. Just about everything is well developed. The story is a bit slow in the beginning, but that's where the characters shine. I also love the ED songs to this anime, Eternal Snow being my favourite. This is based Arina Tanemeura's original manga, the woman who also created Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. The romance is bitter-sweet but the ending leaves good, lasting emotions. The ending may be even "too" happy.

Kare Kano - licensed - Comedy, Romance, Drama - This is so not unlikable. The comedy should keep everyone laughing and the romance develops in a more serious way. For one, it's developed through an odd set of characters, almost realistic. Although the ending was an extreme disappointment, they still did a good job in the beginning.

Great Teacher Onizuka - licensed - Comedy, Fanservice, Drama - a totally different genre. I am positive that GTO will capture just about any audience (except those whom detest fanservice) since the characters cover over a wide age range. The comedy is hilarious, perhaps to die for, but there is the latter half which deals with true issues in teenagers and adults. I don't know anyone who didn't enjoy this.

Full Metal Alchemist - licensed - Adventure, Drama, Action, Comedy - a beautiful set of characters. I believe that the story couldn't get better. It's the mystery of it all, and how themes were brought onto. Absolutely everyone had a story behind themselves, even the "enemies". Searching for the Philosopher's Stone sounds almost like Harry Potter, but this is not as kiddish. Fullmetal Alchemist's development of the story was extremely brilliant.

Just for laughs:
Jubei-chan's Secret Lovely Eyepatch - licensed - Comedy, Action, Drama - for some reason, I kept thinking of a manga. In terms of anime vs. manga in one particular area, the manga writer can comment about anything, anywhere. In this series, the characters do just that, resulting in pure comedy. You can't take the Samurai story seriously, it's just too funny.

Rizelmine - unlicensed - Comedy, Ecchi - moral thoughts aside, I think one can find this extremely hilarious. At least I thought this series was extremely funny. Most people have problems with this one because of the Haro-complex. It features love and sexual situations involving a 12-year-old (who can't age) named Rizel. I can't get enough of the satirical comedy though. Oh, and I'm a pervert.

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! - licensed - Comedy, Fanservice - I'm not a big fan of Chidori an Sagara as much as others, but then I still found this show really, really funny. The whole "fumoffu" deal was shamefully cute (which made things funny). This is more of the comic relief to the other FMP series.

For the girls:
Gravitation - licensed - Shounen-ai, Romance, Comedy - this is probably the most romantic thing I've seen (I'm not saying this in a "awww so cute" way). What I mean is, this series packs more romance than any other! More for the girls considering that most guys are homophobics. I also laughed loads with this one. Tingly romance and laugh out loud comedy, what could go wrong? Other shounen-ai series to check out: Yami no Matsuei, Loveless, Sukisyo, not so much D.N.Angel; but there ARE themes of it

Fruits Basket - licensed - Comedy, Drama, Romance - a favourite of mine. With just the first episode, I was hooked. How? The comedy! It was hilarious, plus, there are the incredibly sexy bishies~. The ending was craptacular, and the drama was somewhat depressing, but the intertwining love and comedy was an enjoyable watch.

Kodomo no Omocha - licensed - Comedy, Romance, Drama - definitely shoujo, and another favourite of mine. Loads of laughs and extremely addicting. Similar series include: Marmalade Boy and Hana Yori Dango, all licensed.

Mermaid Melody PPP - licensed - Romance, Comedy, Music - okay, so they have this corny plot of mermaid girls going into the human world because their homes are being destroyed by these villains. And to defeat the villains, they transform and sing to get them to run away. This story make me roll my eyes ALL the time. But the romance is there, and I love it~. The music is okay too. I don't really like the voice for Luchia either.

Sit back and relax:
Maria-sama ga Miteru - unlicensed - Romance - not much going on here, there is no drama/action what-so-ever. The soft music also enhances the "calm" feel of this particular series, and the use of softer colours. However, this is a shoujo-ai series. Other shoujo-ai series (or themes) can be found in these series: Kannazuki no Miko, Yami no Boushi, 2x2=shinobouden, and Mai Hime (although their genres may be extremely different)

Somedays Dreamer - licensed - Magic - I think the protagonist is extremely cute (especially in the manga). Anway, in this series, magic is looked at different, it's to help people, it's not a source of power or mystery. Nothing dramatic goes on here either, it's more of a slice of life series except with a touch of magic. There's a tad bit of romance, but they don't really develop on it as the central theme.

Unlicensed series recommendations:
Gakuen Alice - Comedy, Fantasy, Romance - extremely funny, and extremely cute. I look forward to every episode. The fansubs are taking their time with the releases, but I'm really glad that they picked this up. This sort of reminds me of Kodomo no Omocha, but the characters are even younger! o_0. "Pedolicious" as some people may say.

Honey & Clover - Comedy, Romance - a series more within my age range. It features common problems of university life and the art is so...girly! A lot of people have recommended this to me, and those people are Otaku's, so it HAS to be good.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - Drama, Romance - I personally didn't like the series (especially Mitsuki, that bitch!). But then a lot of people seem to like this series. It's romance cannot be compared to any other schmo romance series. It's much, much more dramatic, almost devastating.

Time to go, I guess I'll edit this later.

My list of recommendations, will edit as I got the time. (Link to A-Source's preview page is in the title)

Full Metal Alchemist

Genre: Action/Comedy
Episodes: 51

Why I recommend: Well, this anime is one of my top 5 list of the best anime of all time. It was so full of twists and turns, that at one point you will be wondering just who are really the bad guys. Who should the brothers trust as they tried to regained what they have lost. The anime doesn't have much fillers, and almost every episode is not wasted, even the flashbacks episodes. The ending might not satisfy everybody, but I think the movie will go and continue the story where it left off.

Fruits Basket

Genre: Comedy/Drama
Episodes: 26

Why I recommend: Of all the animes that I have seen and watched throughout my short "career", nothing ever comes close to this anime when it comes to "emotional pull". The one and only anime that I have ever watched, that had me laughing hard at one point, and then I found myself having tears welling up in my eyes. They didn't have much any definite plot, however that was countered by unforgettable characters, and lessons that can be learn. The ending again, will not satisfy everybody.

Samurai Champloo

Genre: Action/Comedy
Episodes: 26

Why I recommend: This is a samurai anime with a difference. It got hip-hop mixed into it!! But that is not the point. The main strength of this anime is it's animation and it's no-nonsense fighting. The fight sequence was so beautiful, and it is also wasted no time talking and monologues and such, it's all down to kill or be killed. The only drawback is the storyline, which seems to be a bit lacking

Eureka 7

Genre: Mecha
Episodes: 14 and ongoing (Raw at 27)

Why I recommend: If you want to search for a new mecha anime to watch, don't bother with Gundam Seed Destiny. This one is the one you should concrentrate on!! Beautiful artwork, unique mecha, and most important of all, great characters!! It reminds me of Neon Genesis Evangelion, where every character has it's own strength and drawbacks. However, unlike NGE, this anime has the comedic side to it and also some light moments. The story currently is taking a dark turn, and it is interesting to see how they are going to end this one (It is scheluded for 50 episodes btw Razz)

Full Metal Panic : The Second Raid

Genre: Mecha
Episode: 13

Why I recommend: If you like the original Full Metal Panic series, or you like Owaru's Day by Day, then this is the show for you. It properly continue where Full Metal Panic has left off. However this time around, it is not all about mecha and action, this time it is about the depth of characters that were shown in the three mains i.e Sousuke, Chidori and Kaname.

Link to the preview page is in title. Smile

Mai Hime
Genre/s: Action, Drama, Mecha/Superpower
Episodes: 26

Why I Like:
- Nice Character Design (i.e., cute girls )
- Very nice action sequences
- Quite emotional, as well
- Not everyone may like the ending, but I personally loved it.

Excel Saga
Genre/s: Action, Adventure, Comedy, Parody
Episodes: 26

Why I Like:
- Absolutely hilarious Very Happy
- A Parody of Parodies! No-one is spared (not even the director!)

Just an aside: About Full Metal Alchemist, I think its themes are too mature to be rated "for everyone" (not just the blood and gore, but the moral issues as well.) If I had a kid, I would certainly not let him watch it until he's old enough (18+).

Since I realized I haven't actually recommended anything here it comes.

Gravitation

Genre: Drama, Music, Romance, Shounen Ai

Number of eps: 13 + 2 OVA

As Himitsu stated it's a boy on boy love series so it might not be for everyone. Im a homophobe yes (I've had some bad encounters with with homosexual people when I was younger) but I seriously loved this show. It has a entertaining story the characters are great, it's not to short or dragged out even if I would have liked it if it was longer. Also the comedy is great it can change from completely serious situation to a great laugh without the feel of drastic change, just a natural transaction between them. Also the music is great, since Shuichi is aiming to become a pro singer we get alot of music in it. How can a song named Spicy Marmalade be bad Very Happy ? So even if you are the greatest homophobe out there I would still say give this show a chance since it's just to great to miss out.

Major

Genre: Shounen, Sports, Drama

Number of eps: 26 + a second season comming out soon

Well it's about baseball... might sound boring as just another sport series. I didn't like it for the sport neither do I like baseball. However this is one of my favorite animes ever. I liked it because of the strong characters and the story. It's a simple story but to me it packed alot of emotion, to strive for a goal together with you friends. It also feels more real then most animes. There are no super attacks when hitting the ball or frowing it, it's all something that's real (fastball, curveball and such). I can't pinpoint what it is that makes me like this series so much all I know is it got me hooked faster then I could imagine.

Ayashi no Ceres

Genre: Action, Adventure, Romance, SciFi, Shoujo

Number of eps: 24

From the same mangka who made Fushigi Yuugi, Ayashi no Ceres has a more darker tone then Fushigi Yuugi. It's has great story elements and one of the few shojo animes I've seen. It's also one I liked because of the story, romance and the characters.
I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone since it has darker tones. I'd say at least 16+ to see it and Im guessing most guys may find it not as great as I did.

Chrno Crusade

Genre: Action, Demons, Comedy, Fantasy

Number of eps: 24

The story is about Rosette and Chrono who are looking for Rosettes brother Joshua. As they are part of the Order of Magdalene and exterminates demons in return of their help looking for clues about Joshua. Sounds simple enough don't it? Well throw in abit of comedy and a some darker tones and you have a great anime. Despair, pain and suffering are all part of what makes it so good. It's not that dark as I've made it seem but it has mature themes in it and also why I like it.
The characters aren't "super", they recives hits and are sometimes overwhelmed by the enemy. they change and have character development. There's no super attack that they reuses every ep either.

Mahorormatic

Genre: Action, Comedy, Drama, Ecchi

Eps: 12 + 14

One of the things I liked is the comedy in it, it was quite fun to see. The action is also well made no real reused action. As you find out in the beginning Mahoro only have a limited time to live knowing this also made it more interssting to see why she decided to live the remaining of her life like that. And see how people start targeting her for her previous life. While watching this even with all the comedy I had a hard time seeing a happy ending because of Mahoros limited time to live, maybe that's why I liked it so much.

I'll add more anime series later as time goes by

Mai-HiME: (Action, Drama, Comedy) (26 Eps + sequel spinoff)
Plot - Fuuka Acamedy is home to twelve girls who have mysterious latent powers to destroy giant monsters who threaten the earth. However, a secret organization has their own plans for these girls. Friendships and rivalries amongst the girls will either help or hinder their chances of surviving the big battle brewing behind the scenes.
Why I like it.... the artwork is exceptional, the battles are exciting, the characters are lovable, and this is by the far the most dramatic series I have ever seen. You really can feel how the characters are feeling and you can't help but want to cheer them all on.
SEE ALSO - Mai-Otome

Air TV: (Drama) (12 Eps + Summer Special)
In a small seaside village, a traveling puppeteer makes friends with a strange young girl who suffers from a mysterious illness. After meeting many of the other young girls in the village, he learns that perhaps she is not the only one who suffers from this unusual condition.
Why I like it.... this story surrounding this helpless young girl just brings a tear to my eye. It's hard watching her struggle with her illness and seeing her life fall apart all around her. With each episode, a new twist is added to keep the viewer in suspense and really paying attention to every single detail. It's cute without trying and is serious when it needs to be. A perfect blend.
SEE ALSO - (no recs)

Comic Party: (Slice of Lice, Drama, Comedy) (12 Eps + sequel)
Trying to make it big in the world of comics, this series follows a young high school student as he meets many individuals in the industry. As he learns the ins and outs and the dos and don'ts, viewers are treated to an inside look at how their favorite mangas are created. It's not as easy as it seems.
Why I like it.... an inside look at how manga is made is featured in this informative, yet very entertaining series. It could have better only if they went on to showing how they make it into an anime, but the characters and realism of the drama make this a great series.
SEE ALSO - Genshiken

Ghost in the Shell - Standalone Complex: (Action, Sci-Fi) (26 Eps + sequel)
In the not-so-distant future, it's more normal to be a cyborg than an all-natural human. Though for the better of mankind, these advantages in body-structure also bring forth new types of criminals. Call in Section 9 to handle the baddest of bad cyber terrorists in this stylish new take on the cop drama.
Why I like it.... if you're looking for the best action around, then look no further. The no-nonsense members of Section 9 get down to business and they do it quick without error. The clever stories and excellent execution (no pun intended) of the events are the best quality of this A+ series.
SEE ALSO - GitS Movie, GitS Innocense, GitS SAC 2nd GIG, Cowboy Bebop, Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040

Girls Bravo: (Comedy, Drama, Eechi) (26 Eps + sequel)
A young boy who is allergic to girls one day falls through a portal and ends up on a planet made up of 90% females. Luckily enough for him, the one girl who he befriends right away is the only girl who doesn't make him sick. But when she tags along with him back to Earth, his bodily illness turns into one big headache while trying to assimilate her to life in Japan (and no, it is not edible).
Why I like it.... it's thoughtless fun. Sure the eechi romance drama has been done to death in anime, but these cute charaters and the clever comedy make this is a standout among the rest.
SEE ALSO - DearS, Chobits

Last Exile: (Action, Fantasy) (26 Eps)
In a world combing old-world European towns and clothing with futuristic flying vessles, Last Exile submerges us in a wild fantasy involving a mystery surrounding a young girl and the powers she has to wake up an incredible weapon.
Why I like it.... nowhere else in entertainment will you find a series anywhere similiar to this series. The animation raises the standard, the action is exhilerating, the story is excellent, and the characters couldn't be any better.
SEE ALSO - Eureka Seven

Please! Twins: (Drama, Comedy, Romance) (12 Eps + Bonus OVA)
Having been living on his own since leaving the orphanage, Maiku Kamashiro is surprised when not one, but two girls show up at his door claiming to be his long-lost twin sister. All three of them have the same photograph of two twins as children, but the question is, which of the teenage girls is the little sister in the photo?
Why I like it.... this is a well-executed story. The mystery remains a mystery up until the last episode and until you learn it, you're glued to the set. The characters are cute, the comedy is fresh, the artwork is pleasing, but the music is the best draw.
SEE ALSO - Please! Teacher

Tsubasa Chornicle

Genre:Adventure, Fantasy, Magic, Romance, Shounen

unlicensed-Fansub via Dattebayo

Eps:26

In the Land of Clow, a teenaged Syaoran returns from archaeology did where he is working. He is greeted by his old childhood friend, Princess Sakura. Sakura wants to confess her feelings for Syaoran, but gets interupted before doing so. Later, she meets Syaoran at the ruins where her latent powers become active and wings (tsubasa) appear as a mysterious person attempts to kidnap her. Syaoran prevents Sakura from being taken, but now Sakura is unconscious and her memories appear to be gone. She will die unless she can get help from the time-space witch Yuuko. The priest-mage Yukito sends Syaoran across space and time to another universe where Yuuko resides on Earth in Japan. There, they not only meet Yuuko, but also Kurogane, a powerful ninja who was sent there by Princess Tomoyo from her universe to learn the true meaning of strength. And finally they meet Fai, a powerful mage and creator of Chii in his world. He's on the run from a sleeping ruler named Ashura.

Yuuko agrees to grant all of their wishes for a major price. For Kurogane, he must give up his sword in order to travel through dimensions in the hopes of returning home. For Fai, he must give up the tatoos that his magic comes from so he can stay on the run. For Syaoran, he must give up his current relationship with Sakura to travel to the dimensions to find the feathers of her wings which contain her memories. And Sakura, though unconscious, must give up her memories of Syaoran.

Together, the four set off with the critter Mokona, who can locate Sakura's feathers, who can open doors between universes, and who can communicate with Yuuko when needed.

I highly recommend this!

Why?
Because It has lots of action, great chracters, a good plot and some romance thrown on top. It's also based off a manga from the group only known as Clamp. Laughing

Mai Otome / Action, Shounen, Comedy, Ecchi / unlicensed - A teenage girl named Arika Yumemiya has a dream of becoming an Otome in the school of Guadarobe. However, with no family to support her and little background on her home country, her journey to reach the top will be much more difficult than she ever thought it would be. Set in an alternate universe from Mai Hime, this series is setting up to be as action-packed as its predecessor. With somewhat similar, yet compelling side characters and a new twist on plotline, you should check this anime out, regardless if you didn't see Mai Hime.

Blood+ / Action, Shounen / unlicensed - Saya is a high school girl that can only recall her life from two years ago. Her mysterious and violent past becomes entangled in serial killers occurances that have been plaguing the city she lives in. In time, she is drawn to a man who knows of her dark past. With no one else for Saya to turn to in the midst of danger, he bestows to her a blade, awakening her, once again, to fight, to bleed, and to kill. This anime is filled with an ominous atmosphere that should appeal to anyone who enjoyed the swordplay in Twelve Kingdoms, or have viewed Elfen Lied. From the eps. I've seen, put those two together, and you have Blood+ (that is a VERY loose comparison, as only about 5 eps. have been subbed). Serious character development within Saya seems to be the key element to this anime, and has hope of being a very worthwhile series. Do check it out.

Title: Yakitate!! Japan
Japanese Title: 焼きたて!!ジャぱん
Genre: Comedy, Shounen, Food/Cooking
Status: ongoing
Licensed: No
Current Length: 54 episodes (as aired on TV Tokyo), 55 (as per the official website).
URLs:

http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/yakitate-japan/

Synopsis (as per AniDB):
Yakitate means "fresh baked", but the word "Japan" is actually a pun - pan means bread in Japanese, so Azuma Kazuma is out to make Japan, a unique Japanese bread to compete with the best bread from around the world!

Azuma become obsessed with bread when he was six years old. His sister yelled that their family should start having bread for breakfast sometimes, but their grandfather refused to even consider it, as he would only eat natto, miso soup, and rice for breakfast. Kazuma agreed, saying he didn't like bread, but his sister kidnaps him and takes him to a bread store to show him the wonders of fresh-baked bread. Not only is Kazuma converted, but the owner discovers that Kazuma has the magical "Hands of the Sun" whose warmth makes them particularly suited to making bread. The owner packs up shop and goes to Tokyo to fulfill his dream of making Japan, but Kazuma continues his bread-baking dream as well, and ends up going to Tokyo himself when he's sixteen, to compete for a spot at the foremost bread store in Japan - Pantasia!

Likes (Personal):
It's like Iron Chef for bread
It makes you want to eat more bread.
The characters are fun.
The Japanese is easy to follow.
The reactions to the bread are priceless!

Dislikes (Personal):
Azuma is given godlike bread-baking abilities without knowing what he's doing; therefore, at some points, it goes:
-Azuma does godlike thing.
-Reaction
-Lengthy explanation
-Opponent realizing defeat
-Repeat
Characters feel kind of flat at times

Reccomend? Yes

I have yet to see anyone talking about this, so might as well share an anime I like.

Name: Prince of tennise
Genre: Sports, Comedy
Episodes: 178

Tough it seems Prince of Tennis starts off with a main character, Echizen Ryoma, son of the world renoun samurai of the tennis world, it leads to the hardship and joy of the tennis players that Ryoma comes across. Upon entering Seigaku Junior High School, he excels in Tennis and rise up to become one of the regular members of the Seigaku Tennis Club. As the anime continues, Echizen Ryoma not only becomes a better player, his reason of playing tennis and his attitude matures as well.

I never got into sports manga or anime until I read Hajime no Ippo. Soon after, I discovered Prince of Tennis, and I am totally hooked onto it. I am only to the part where they're battling with the United States and I have yet to find space in my HardDisk to save it. I was addicted to this anime for the first week, I literally stayed up every night for 3 days just to finish up all that I've downloaded. I'm quite an easily entertained person, but I have not even seen any movie or series that's about sports that got me this hooked. All in all, even if you do not know anything about tennis, you'll be able to watch this anime and understand what they're saying while learning about the rules of tennis.
The funniest episodes are the ones that doesn't really have anything to do with the main story/plot. They're special episodes where the characters are all Chibi-like.

What I like more about it as well is that although Ryoma is the main character of all characters, he does not win all his games making it a little more on the realistic side. Of course there'll come a point where he rules all (I'm guessing), but through his losses, he learns and gets better.

It might just be my computer or my software or even the files I download, but coming to episodes 130ish, there were some episodes that when I watched, it was ruined. The pixels were all smeared as the view moves. I replayed the old episodes and it doesn't do that. I'm not too sure what it is, but I cannot complain much about getting it for free. I am thinking about owning this anime. Didn't need to write this paragraph, but I think I'm a person who shares a little more than needed.

hey.. i wonder why nobody have recommended "Bleach"
i think it's a nice anime.. i enjoy watching it so much..

"BLEACH" (comedy, action, drama)
episode: on going

story: it's about a boy named Kurosaki Ichigo, he is a normal boy except the fact that he can interact with ghost.. not only he can see them.. he can even touch and talk to them.. (it's kinda fun i think.. Razz though it seems that ichigo did not enjoy it)
One day his family is attacked by a hollow (=a bad spirit that looks like a monster). To save his sisters, ichigo confront the hollow and almost got eaten by the hollow. He was saved by Rukia, a girl shinigami (=death god), however Rukia is badly injured after she saved ichigo and can not defeat the hollow. Everything is now in ichigo's hand.. the decision whether he want to be a shinigami in order to rescue his sisters and defeat the hollow.. and so the story goes on with a twist here and there..

why i like it: 1st reason because it's funny.. it's hillarious.. 2nd reason, i also like the characters such as ichigo, rukia, orihime, urahara, kurosaki's dad (i think the name is Issin), renji, yachiru, etc.. 3rd reason, the action is so cool.. ichigo can also lose sometimes.. so it's still realistic.. 4th reason, i like the story.. wad else.. haha..

Monster - Drama, Mystery, Horror - One of the best series I've ever watched. This series is a combination of an intense and vivid plot and diverse, well-developed characters. The author's ability to introduce a whole side story and sow it into the main storyline is nothing but genius; This keeps everything fresh and interesting for the viewer. Another interesting aspect is how easily the series manipulates the viewer's emotions; I've had feelings for characters move from admiration to disgust, hatred to sympathy and back again. Without a doubt, Monster is not painted in black and white; Everything is shades of gray.

If you want an anime that will hold your attention and definitely keep you on the edge of your seat, pick up Monster. I'm eagerly waiting for Lunar to finish this series up.

Blood+
- unlicensed - ongoing - Action, Horror, Adventure, hint of Romance -

It is about undead creatures called Chiropteran that are like vampires (they drain blood from their victims) and the only person that can kill them is high school student Saya Otonashi, because of the certain DNA in her blood. Her life is turned upside down as she hunts these creatures down and searcg for "Diva" along with her past.

The plot is well paced and the music for the opening is nice. The ending theme isn't a personal fave of mine though. I love how clean and crisp the visuals are. Lots of blood but not too much gore. The voice actors are good. I also like how this isn't a stupid anime where the characters are unrealistically perky and big boobed. I don't reccomend this to younger kids. There are creepy critters around and killing of children. Evil or Very Mad Anyways, watch it.
