Which FF series was the hardest to beat?

Final Fantasy Tactics was pretty hard to beat if you don't know what you're doing, but I beat it when I was 8 years old. The hardest part was to beat the summoners - The bosses are the weak throughout the game except the 2nd last stone where the guy can do summons as a demon.
Last stone+boss was easy because you just aim for the angel and the other enemies die.
---Tactics also had a rather slow, but decent story of betrayal.

Yeah it's true, maybe only a die-hard-fan of FF would do things like that...for me it's not really worth because we will miss a lot of thing just to get this uber-power weapon for Steiner...
I'd rather waste my time playing chocobo, levelling up with Yans and fighting Ozma...

FFT (tactics) they really didn't teach you how to play...and if they did....I missed it....

Final fantasy 1 and 2... I couldnt get over the graphics.. I'm too shallow XD. and the mono music annoyed the hell outa me. I know it's like the father of all FF games but seriously.. ARG! BTW, I think FF8 kicked arsaline.

FF7...maybe the hardest part in it is to defeat Emerald Weapon, but I still think it's not very hard once we have KotR, Counterattack and other powerful materia...the problem is the battle takes quite a long time...

i found ff6 near the end to get quite hard, especially if you actually want to try to beat all those dragon bosses and get all the magic. i beat on eof them, but on a normal level where you get that theif guy back in the party those mosters in the caves wasted me.

i really think that its all the same in difficulties... i mean if your level is high enough you can beat anybody..if its hard that just means your level is too low dont you think? it makes sense to me Cool
