Lionheart in disk 1 in ff8? That's insane lol. I hate the dodging game in ff10 but i managed to dodge the lightnings 200 times in a row, took me a few times though. The trick is too look at the sky and when you see a blink and hear the sound of thunder straight sway, press the x buttom immediately. My hands were sweating after i completed it, what were square thinking Mad

i say final fantasy tactics cuz it takes a lot of building up of characters and their class. i think it takes more skills rather than the items you have.

start out by getting
ifrit from your teacher quistis.
mini mog from from that kid that his runing around balamb garden.

Elnoyle card-Ability Card Mod-10= 1 energy crystal
energy crystal-Ammo-RF= 1:10 Pulse Ammo
Minotaur-Ability Card Mod= 1:10 Adamantines
hmm Dragon Fang? if anyone knows how to get it, then you get the the gunblade in disk one.

Do you guys think that the FF series are getting way to easy to beat as the new ones comes out. I stopped playing when i beat 10. becasue it took me 140 hrs to get everyting i mean every from little secrete to being the best ball player, to captureing all of the fiend for monster arena, to getting all of the special weapons and when i got to the last boss i just trampled over him.

i think sqaure is focusing too much on the graphic of the game.
if you look at it the earlier FF it was way harder then it gradually got easier as the graphics got better.

Yeah, the playstation one was extremely long and so was the GBA version (come on, a 30 hours handheld game? That's worth your money!!)
I had a little trouble with the GBA one because I was trying to get every single item and all the secret charecters so it took me 30 hours!!

Oh...you mean the challenge in FF...for me, the toughest one is to get Sun Crest in FFX...up until now I still haven't get that item...it's hard to win that game with 0.00 timer...
i spent like 4 days trying that, and i finally said i quit after one more try, and i miraculously got it Razz , but it still was hard. ANYWAYS, i think FF7 is the hardest, i dont know why, bosses were kinda hard...

Man, you're pretty persevere....I was frustrate with that thing...
FF7..I don't think that was hard...the hard one is maybe Emerald Weapon, but with lots of counteratacks, that creature will go down in no time...

it may be cheap, but for all of you who just want to beat the lighting challenge without going through the hassle of actually trying, get a turbo controller from a friend or somewhere and make the "X" button turbo, and then just hold it while running around and vuola, finito. also useful for people playing ff8 for like the billionth time since you can boost your gf to 200% in a matter of seconds, although i never used summoning throughout all of ff8 cuz it brings down your seed level, and uhhh, ya, turbo controller can make things easier in a lot of other rpgs, just one warning that you should only use it after you already beat a game, or else it just kills the purpose of the challenge [/spoiler]

In doing the main quests one could say that but when you get 4 slashs with 9999 dmg each time, atma weapon becomes a weakling all of a sudden.
