Sorry if there is already a thread of this. But I wanted to see what your guys opinions of this series was. Also does anyone know if they plan to expand on the Mina property maybe something like they did with Genshiken/ Kujibuki Unbalance.

Meh, the LA Densha was okay, but it was pretty corny, too. Also, it did not depict otaku in a very flattering way (yeah, it's possible to be an anime maniac and still fit in with the rest of society). It was pretty interesting to see how they did the chat room aspect of it, but it was REALLY corny at some points. I know I already said it, but it bears repeating.

Even with all this trash I've said about it, after certain episodes you definately don't want to wait to see what happens in the next one, even if you do know what is coming. Also, the series has some really great non-Japanese music in it as well. Twilight, Pretty Woman, Mr. Roboto, and everyone's favorite, Dragonstea din tei, aka Numa Numa.

I'd give it a shot if you like corny romances, like me.

hhmmm....I just watched the first 2 episodes and It's kinda ok right now.
So I Downloaded all the episodes and will watch the rest when I had time.

Still...the depiction of "Otaku" is kinda...ermm. nvm...anyways...pretty good show. Especially the anime cutscenes.

And I didn't know that the SONGS were not JP at all...but I guess the Accent kinda gave it away.

recently i just come across of this series in my local terestial channel and found out that this story plot is very nice to watch Smile

an otaku of anime? i do not know about it, but somehow this guy is really funny Laughing
