| Well Daniel Craig has been officially announced as the next James Bond replacing Pierce Brosnan to star in Casino Royale. Personally, of all the choices for the next James Bond, I would've chosen Clive Owen, but hey that's me. |

Sean Connery was the best. Brosnan was good too. Since when is James Bond blond, anyway? _________________

| James Bond isn't all about the womanising and beating people up, he's got to be suave and sophistimacated anda ll that stuff. I don't think Collin Farrel or Clive Owen could do that, and despite how good Clive was in CLoser they've both proven that they're capable of some REALLY bad acting (Daredevil, King Arthur...) |

| From the look of it, they'll just taint his hair for the movie. Clive Owen however, seemed like a better choice to me. |

If anybody here watches Layer Cake, they wouldn't be talkin no shit against Daniel Craig. I think he's a great chioce for Bond. The man can act. And to those complaining that he's a blonde? What actor has never changed their hair colour to do a role? cmon people _________________ http://www.ariakon.com/images/RIsElite.jpg |

Sean Connery was the one and only true Bond.
This old fart doesn't seem to fit the role very well. Can't be helped, I guess. At least it's not as bad as how Snake looks in MGS4... |

Clive Owen's too rugged to be Bond, you've got to remember that us British are still stuck in the whole class mentality and Clive Owen comes across as a gruff northerner. James Bond is quintissential upper class charm and composure. Granted Sean Connery (the BEST) was a Scot but he managed to pull it off, and Pierce Brosnan IS upper class so he had nooo worries. Based on Clive's performance in King Arthur tryin to be regal and upper class for him means just saying his lines with a lot less emphasis
As for Daniel Craig.. they practically set him up for it in Layer Cake, when he grabs the pistol I could immediately see him as the next Bond |

| i think hell be a good choice, from layer cake he has the kind of experience, and he has that aura about him that tells you he could do well in the bond environment, if you know what i mean. |
