I have had one year, did not have it last year, but should have a Japanese class this year YAY!! Very Happy

No. I did take first-year Japanese in college, but I don't remember much from that.

I've got some as-of-yet unused software to help me learn it, though. Very Happy

All i got out of that was: no, i speak conversational Japanese.
that was all i could figure out Crying or Very sad

soon i hope to be an expert though!!!

i don't know japanese.. but i'm planning on to take it in high school next year..... and would you please translate that? lol..

I was so obssessed with Japanese culture that I start studying Nihonggo by myself.

Yep

I borrowed a bunch of books (and some mangas) from the library like dictionaries and stuffs. I also learned a little bit from James Clavell's Shogun (which is headache-inducingly thick). I'm going to take Nihonggo classes some time soon (I hope) Smile

I was also studying nihongo by myself until now......but I can't understand any Kanji....they're the hardest to study.....

I´d really love to learn Japanese in order to understand the animes and to be able to take some trips to Japan. Unfortunately, here in Germany aren´t many opportunities to learn this nice language, so I´m going to learn it starting after Christmas.
