Here's an assignment that I had to do for Drawing class. A (original) picture made by thousands of dots using pens. Looks a lot better in real life because you don't see the reflections of the different types of pen used. Some colors are purple and some are black because I used various types of pens. But they were all the same color though Confused

Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

btw have you guys checked out [Maglad]'s posts yet? If anyone wants something to do go check out his post "looking for a few good artists"

that totally rocks, especially love the way that the dots highlight the different tones and the shadows on the gundam.

The guy doesn't look too good, but the girl and the Gundam look great to me... by the way, why is the image a bit too blurry?

nice job. i'am sure that took a lot of time (and dots) Laughing

to make. i agree w/ CGY, the guy's a bit off. Anyway you said it's an original but it kinda look like a gundam. Try experimenting with mecha so you can a have a unique look instead of a look alike. anyway great art. keep it up.

Thanks guys. It seems I'm still having problems with the guy's facial expressions. I'm guessing my"gundam" design is ok though. Smile

And [NoyPi] thanks for the suggestion, I'll try experimenting with other mechs. It's just a hard habbit to break, y'know? I've been drawing robots since the 3rd grade and Gundams really appeal to me. However I'll try to break this habbit of mine nad create new Ceybrums. (to tell the truth they don't look like Gundams that much to me though) Confused

woah the gundam rocks and i like the girl facial expression the right but the guy at the bottom facial expression doesn't seem right. Nice picture.

pinkard your friend is very good at pointism but i like takasan picture equally as much. Practice makes perfect so keep it up takasan.

My only criticism is the guy. He looks, well...ah, I'll be blunt: he looks like some American southerner with cross eyes.
