it may not have been so clear in the first post i made, but the point is still clear, we're boned. in some way, we are. if not by nature, or by disease, then by oursleves.
theres more problems now then this time in the past few years. which makes me ponder if we are nearing the end of the planet?
it may not be a sudden thing, but slowly and eventually, and quite possibly within the next half century to century, we may be ravaged by constant problems such as drastic increase in temperature and natural disasters. and as for the bird flu, i think thats there as a fail safe just incase the natural disasters dont get to us first.
im not a religious dude, but perhaps god or some divine being is pulling all his resources and reserves and playing his trump card. _________________ [img:567:138:151453bb6b]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/wahagifsda.gif[/img:151453bb6b]

I don't realy agree that God/divine being/kami/aliens? would do anything, why bother.

i don't know about that if i was some kinda all powerful divine being i'd probably throw a few "natural" disaster's here and there just for entertainment value. _________________ [img:350:100:b9d927e767]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/tehalbino/gaara2.png[/img:b9d927e767] |

it could. i live in the US, and I think its going the way of Rome. we have already been smited (New Orleans) for being deubacherous, so we are all screwed now.. the world could end before I type this. it could go at any time, so I am always prepared for the worst. _________________ Miku Miku!!

the world wont end till the time that some comet hits the earth.. and thats certainly not within our life span, so stop worrying folks..
doomsday scenarios sell books and make good tv, but count how many have come and passed with nothing happening..
and if you must know, the next scheduled end of the world is supposed to be 2012. happy waiting. |

If things are going at the same pace there is only slight doubt that the world WON'T end by the end of my lifetime. I believe humanity is practically killing itself quite quickly right now and we're undergoing a lot of natural disasters and future natural disasters have yet to come.
---If the bible is true, we have undergone only the beginning of the disasters we will face before judgement. |

Many idiots believed the world was going to end in the 2nd millenium. They actually believed in "Y2K" which stood for Year 2 Thousand, but as stupid as it may sound, people thought it was a code for death in 2000. How stupid. |

Really? I used to thougt death was the only sure thing in life
I belive humans have surpass nature games. We dont longer have to struggle to survive, we no longer need to evolve, we adapt our enviorment instead of adapting to it. We could extint all the species in earth if we wish it.
So I belive the great GATNZ in the sky had recluted birds with flu and monkeys with AIDS to correct nature mistakes... _________________ Fanstics find their heaven in never ending storming winds

Not sure about the world in general, but I think many nations are going to be wiped out in my lifetime from either George Bush being an ass or natural disasters all over the world. |

do any of u out there think that the world will end in our lifetime? like within the next century? considering whats been happening in the last few years and this year in particular, what with all the disasters and whatnot, i think its a possiblity.
do u think that humanity and all of life in general is on the brink of destruction?
with the increase in global temperature and the rise of natural disasters around the world, are we screwed?
theres been a few documentaries and such on tv in the last few months, documenting the melting of the ice caps, and the rise in temp. but are we reli safe? the evidence is hard to go against but id still like to know what the majority of u out there think. |
ye the world will end in our life time i will do it
