Hi! i'm new here, came across anime-source on somebody's site and i really like it here Very Happy

i'm curious: is it just at anime-source or are there more guys than girls in the manga/anime community? and are the manga translated by anime-source's own translation group? good job on the manga section~! Smile

More guys participate in forums......Guy:girl ratio here eez bout 70:30
U can find all chapters ichigo 100% translated somewhere in forums but the rest....i dunno...probly not

the ratio is VERY strange. i am one of 5 girls that i know of that uses the site relatively regularly. but anyways, welcome to the site jenaki. you have questions about anything you can ask the adminstration or me if you want. me very friendly and i love to help people! Smile

Hi there, jenaki. Welcome to the big family of A-Source. Well, for that question, maybe due to the fact that some ladies are not really fond of anime (like my elder sister and younger Crying or Very sad

), but do not worry if you can't find any ladies here. There are quite a lot of ladies here, so you won't feel lonely if you want to speak to some ladies out in the community Wink

No, we do not translate the manga on our own. Most of them are from other translation group and we help them to distribute in a form of a viewer here. There are 2 manga which Yebyosh, one of A-Source admin, had helped translate for us.

Anyways, please take some time to read up the FAQ to save you the trouble in the future. Should there be further queries not stated in the FAQ, please do not hesitate to PM me should the need arise.

Other than that, please enjoy yourself and hope that I see you post in one of the Forums!! (esp. the Free For All Forum Wink

hi there jenaki. the name's quosimos aka ryan. so im a guy:P . about your question, im not sure about the numbers because non of my friends are into anime/manga. If you are a girl then do stick around cause as True said, Asource definitely needs more girls.
ASource doesnt do its own official manga translations. But i think some of the mods/admins do translation work with other groups and ive seen some unofficial manga scanlations posted up in the forums.
