Final Fantasy: Dirge of the Cerebus

Ok, I heard about this game, it's supposedly an shooter/action rpg so something along the lines of Devil may cry or something. It's based Vincent from the original Final Fantasy 7 series and takes place around 3 years afterwards..

I think you got your info abit mixed up, Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus is the game your talking about and it's comming to ps2. Crisis Core is comming to the psp and is supposed to be an action rpg about Zack from what I know. Also it takes place before the events of Final Fantasy VII so it's a prequel

I think its interesting that a FF game is taking a differnet turn from the classic RPG style and into a shooter type. I hope Dirge of Cerebus is a great game.

Seems like its going to be a really close game similar to Devil May Cry because he runs around killing undead (most likely) and can change into a demon/devil form. Similar to how Dante from Devil May Cry can use Devil Trigger.

and it doesn't turn into the unlimted saga Crying or Very sad

of action/rpgs
because that game sucked.

really and again we have to wait for this game to be release again... waiting for final fantasy7 ac only have made me half crazy and then this dirge of cerebus emm what a pain... hope the waiting is worthy as we waited for final fantasy 7 ac

i just got this game imported 2 days ago, but it kinda disappoints me a bit. read on to know why

well first of all i have to say the graphic is certainly beautiful as expected from square-enix. although i cannot make any judgement towards the story thus far, but from i can understand from the story... but it doesnt seem very impressive. as to the gameplay i dont think its excuted very smoothly, and the gameplay seems repetitive and boring.(its probably more fun online) although im only on like the 4th mission and im probably too hasty to pass judgement...but im not motivated to even continue with the game at all

not to mention the slow loading time, weary controls (or at least the default control),and finally 100% of the game is in japanese which irritates me..i would only recommand this game to those who are hardcore fans of ff7, first/third person shooter fanatic, and most important of all. one who understands japanese.

i think they should of made the gameplay similar to DMC but a more focus on guns, cuz Vincent is all about the guns.
