10065 Problem

Been trying to download the latest Aquarion episodes from Mahou. Keep getting error 10065 - No route to host. Network is fully customized to allow torrents (all other torrents are downloading normally). The tracker for this is at port 9339 - didn't know anybody used this, but I opened up an outgoing connection for it in my firewall (didn't help). According to various torrent search engines, there are others who are currently downloading these episodes.

Only outgoing? You need both incoming and outgoing if you want the tracker to keep track all the time. The peers and seeds uses different ports, which is probably what your thinking of: the 6881-6999. Trackers are different. They're basically a webserver and they can be any port they want to.

But I suggest switching clients (which I think what Jsy3k thinking of), since the tracker is probably blocking your client. That's if it isn't any issue with your firewall.

Tried switching clients (I currently use BitTornado). Azureus wouldn't even open (possibly b/c I once had it but later uninstalled it). Retried BitTorrent, but didn't work. Going to try another client.

Try to change your port range from 10000 - 100050.

Some trackers ban certain clients and also certain ports due to some ports being abused bu user.

Wouldn't the torrent client tell you the port used is banned? Anyway, I'll try it. Thanks for your help so far.

Port change to 10000-10050 didn't work.

OK, have you tried other torrent other than the specified torrent that you tried to download?? Or is it just that torrent that you tried??

what episodes were they? im currently gettin 1-18 and all of them look fine from mahou

Most of my other torrents work fine. I think that it may be my ISP blocking certain ports and/or trackers - in the past I have been able to d/l Anime-Shrine fansubs, but I'm no longer able to. Any suggestions?

i really dont know a definite answer to help you.
I know bell and rogers ISPs are not successful in blocking torrents because my friends and i are able to download torrents. the only thign i can really say is check the tracker, or try bitcomet. sorry for being able to be of more help
