Oooh the olympics would make a great manga. Especially if they managed to make it into a series of short stories and focus on various events.

i don't interested to eyeshield before this, but after my lil bro force me to watch it and the "the longest yard" (movie) i found that american football is quite nice, hohoho

Yeah bball manga has already been done. Slam Dunk, harlem Beat and Rebound are good examples. Anyway, i know it doesnt seem like a real sport, but i think lion dancing should be done into a manga =). The modern kind that are done on poles. However its not a sport that pits players against each other directly so it may not be that great of a materiel to use. However lion dance is a sport and a very meaningful art, so theres plenty of traditional stuff to go into. Lion dancing is an extremely under mined sport, but it stands up there with any sport physically and mentally.
